This is a great little MTL clearo, Wismec Amor 2.5, that takes the Ego One coils. Reminds me of the Pico RTA but much easier to use for Ego One coils:

Found it on ebay for $12.

I'm very happy with the draw and flavor I have from the Phenomenon lite, I have 2 of them. Not sure if I'll like the draw on the Tilemahos but I hope the springomizer innards will work with it and restrict the draw somewhat.
The Tobeco super tank mini rta is pretty good, I have the 510 drip tip adapter for it now but no time to play and see if I can get it to MTL the way I like. As a DL tank it is good but I still prefer the Alleria.

I have 2 P lites also... drilled out the fill holes though so don't have to use needle nose

Look above, post # 1152, Toolman's Amor tank. you can follow from there, it is one of the tanks we're trying out for MTL. I have the "newer" version, the Amor plus, a Triton in disguise. Not really MTL worthy unless you like a looser draw and I never figured what coils work in it.

Bear, could I get you to follow some more threads so that when I can't find something you can just toss a post # at me? I'm serious, man. You are just on it in this thread. I wish my brain was that sharp. :inlove:

The amor works well w the ego one 1.0 coil for MTL... I put the .5 pin in it for a looser draw but that's just me :)

THE Vapemail arriveth! ! First impressions since they're soaking and being cleaned.
Tilemahos v2- air draw a bit on the loose side but can be adjusted with the afc ring. Pretty easy to build. If you wanted to buy the Springomizer but ended up with the Tilemahos v2, just buy the Springomizer replacement set ($12) since it fits in the Tilemahos v2 and the draw is a little tighter.
CloudOne - it reminds me of the Gem v2 with a little easier top fill but still needs a needle for refill. Air draw about the same as Gem 2.
Advken omega nano , hmmm.... interesting but not what I was hoping for. Quite a loose draw, dual coil but I think it could be convinced to work with just one coil. Looks nice for a bottom fill tank.
On all of the above tanks the machining is decent but not stellar, about what you'd expect for the price and place of manufacture.

Impression : Tilemahos X1 aka Springomizer, can be very tight draw to semi-loose draw but when all things are considered, the Phenom lite has better flavor,or, it could be just me.
CloudOne very good flavor easy build, definitely a MTL tank.
As mentioned before, machining is OK but not stellar one both tanks.
The Tilemahos/Springomizer remains a work in progress.

I am loving my P lites now that I've drilled the fill holes... great flavor and ease of use

I could only get a 28 gauge build in cloudone, si getting some new deck screws for it...also can't get the JFC to work w the plastic tank, too tight...only works w the steel tank.

Tilemahos should arrive this week!

I am contemplating another 30g fused clapton for the CloudOne but it'll have to wait a bit, my work schedule is going crazy now. I think the flavor should approach the Phenom and filling it is easier. It is super tight with the plastic tank on but I grabbed the flattish part just beneath the white plastic drip tip. With some gentle persuasion and a lot of cussing, it turns (jc for the CloudOne ).

I tried a 26 kanthal in cloudone and couldn't get it trapped and the JFC no go even w gentle persuasion :)

I'll replace the screws and use steel tank and see what up

You forgot the "lots of cussing " part! I also put a little juice all around the rubber o ring at the top of the the tank, the one that seals the drip tip.

Update on that Innokin Hunter I mentioned way back in post #1133
While it's a solid mod and I love the nice big screen the tank sure ain't for MTL however it produces some quite tasty vapor better even than my klone-buki.

Quick update on the Advken omega nano. It can function with one coil if you split the wick and "cover" all 4 juice channels. The performance with one coil however, is underwhelming. It gives hints of very good flavor in dual coil but it is a DL tank, nowhere near my tastes as a MTL tank. In other words, yet another work in progress just like the Tilemahos. The CloudOne is pretty decent but I still prefer the phenomenon lite.

One more quick update, the Tilemahos v2 is slightly better than the "Springomizer" version. The afc 1/2 open is about the same draw as the Tobeco k5 on one pip. This is easily explained, I put a fused clapton 30gx2 with 36g wrap kanthal. 2.5mm ID, 7 wraps? at 1.04 ohms. The Springomizer uses 4mm ID BAC coils that sits roughly 2mm above the air tube where as the coil I put in the Tilemahos sits very close, just shy of 1mm above the air tube. This would tend to reduce the air flow (in my opinion) and make it more of a MTL tank.
Just in case you're wondering, the BAC stands for big a-- coil.

Note for @snake94115, the Tobeco super mini tanks are really nice! I have the rta version but they also have a pre-made coils version available. Ecig city has all Tobeco tanks on sale. They are however DL tanks or a veery warm MTL .

Just ordered 2 of these -
My5xTrt.png

https://www.fasttech.com/products/5620400

Looks similar to my avocado's, these being 24mm are a bit bigger and think look good on my VT75's, and have the plug, so can do single coils.

Since the 22 mm ones are called Avocado, is this the Guacamole?
I did consider the Avocado, but it is a bit too loose for MTL (for my preference ) so I'll stick with the K mini v3 and the Phenomenon lites. Unfortunately for me, I missed the boat on the Phenom. at FT, had to get them on ebay. The ones still available there are about $25 or more. ...the ones on FT were $15.
Now I have to wait for someone here to let us know their impression on the Rose v3.

Me too on the p lites..only snagged 2 and really great tank, would like a third. Wish the gem clone had been as well made.

Sxk rose 3 has been sitting in FT cart awaiting some reviews :)

So I received the hurricane jar. in the mail and it harkens back to then flavor of the taifun- that thick, dense, saturated vape that was so fantastic about the taifun,
But rather than firing at 10w, this thing rocks at 30-35w!

The bell on this is 3 pieces, the inner and outer barrel and chamber cap. the original hurricane and taifun were only 2 pieces,. The third piece allows for juice control, letting you use max vg without any issue.

The airflow is massive, however the posts, while beefy, are close together, leaving you unable to exceed a 3mm coil.
However, it is enough for It to rock Clapton.

Overall, much like the layfun 5, this is not for flavor chaser or for cloud chasers, this is for vapors like me. vapors that like thick clouds and massive flavor, but a restrictive direct lung hit with a single coil rebuildable tank; that, doesn't demand a lot of power.

Compared to the kayfun 5, this wins the flavor contest, the kf5 wins the clouds. BUT, kf5 holds much more liquid.
The differences between the two are opinion only, as they vape quite similar.

@f1r3b1rd , thanks for that, I kept looking at the hurry jr. but I'm soooo stuck on Alleria for DL, I'm not looking at other tanks like that. I'm searching for the best MTL rta....the Phenomenon lite is damn good but I sorta missed the boat on that ( i must've been at the train station) I only have 2 of them. The Calyx is OK but still needs some work, the CloudOne is sort of there but needs refinement. The Tilemahos v2/Springomizer is...well...neither here, nor there, it needs lots of work. The Tobeco Super mini rta is good, nice flavor and good clouds but still a DL tank. I'm wondering about the Rose v3,,if the air flow is more or less than the K5. . I'm hoping the Goblin mini v3 will be good since I pre-ordered it.

shutting the airflow down, this can do mtl, and it will do it better than the kf5 without the airflow restrictors; but, it wont do it as well as the previous gen hurricane or even the erl. or kf5 wih the mtl plugs.

its a great tank, with killer flavor, but a far cry from an mtl tank.

Yep, that is exactly the way I describe the Serpent... single coil, absolute killer flavor but not a MTL tank even with airflow down it is still best with restricted or wide open DL because that is what it is really designed for.

Do you have a Serpent? Feel the same way or is their a difference, subtle or otherwise?

I have a serpent, not a serpent mini, though.
I saw the size of the airport under the coil and knew there was no way to make it mtl. Not only that but its so much air I don't get much flavor at all from it, even where I like to direct lung. So it never got used much at all.

What is size of airhole under coil in Hurri Jr.?

I did a clapton build in the Serpent and got some great flavor... just too much air for me too though, so in the classies it went.

The specs on the Serpent mini is a 4mm airhole in the deck. Looks similar on the Hurricane Jr. but I can't find specs to confirm.

The full size Serpent is over 5mm, so mini is more comparable to the Jr. it seems.
