I have both and Magic Mask and have never used them for anything at all. Before I started DIY I researched a lot of information, wrote things down as I went along. People were using them in SO MANY recipes! I've learned so much more from HIC and wllmc than I did in most of my research. Walking VapeBooks, they are. Love it.
I have bitter wizard and magic mask but haven't really wanted to get rid of sweetness or sour yet.

I'd agree with the Capella for your pie, Tball - probably 10%+. In fact, I'd take Smoky Blue 's approach, combine brands and use several different strawberry flavors. Don't even think about cream or crust until you get strawberry that knocks your socks off.

then work on different cream combos.. or quads..
thick, milky, with or with out your hints of caramel, or could that be a jammy type milk cream?

as far as the "crust" decide how you'd like that too..
nutty, plain, spicey.. everything can be a play on what it is you crave..
but go slow.. pick out how you can taste it.. you'd be surprised at how things turn out! ;)

I think they all just put it in because someone said to " just put it in"

Hey @ClaireW! I finally tried out the Espresso/Anise I had mentioned. It's not my recipe, there was no name posted with it from some Italian site. It was 1% FA Espresson, 1%Vanilla Bourbon and 0.5% Anise. It sat overnight, I really like it. It has an unusual sweetness to it, I suppose from the Anise, quite interesting. Pretty yum.

Glad you tried and it worked out!

I haven't mixed it yet. Been getting my fill of anise dripping white tic tacs. Or adding a few drops of espresso to my ry4 mix

Need to add this to my notes again. Thanks for updates. :)

Now that's a perfect fall day. Great weather day here, too. Got out my flannel jams. Co-zy.
The vape wizard seems interesting to me. Its supposed to add body.
I like Fresh Cream, Marshmallow or Meringue for that. Wish I'd learn more about flavorings before I made my first large purchase. I've used most of that stuff, though. Some, I still haven't touched. But I've only been at it since early in the year.

I'm eventually going to be forced to watch Star Wars to figure out why you keep calling me that. Such a long movie...
Well, you'll need to watch the first to understand the 2nd, then the 3rd makes so much more sense. Beyond that, you'll have to discuss with Glen. And just to keep the mystery of it all, tell you, I'll not, of the one where his appearance does Yoda make.

I was just looking at "the old thread" over there. I still haven't tried Black Fire with Almond to see if it makes smoked almonds.
Has anyone else added Black Fire to "smoke" any food flavors?

yeps.. to smores... ;)

Yeah, I decided a while back that I don't care for that Tangerine. Like you said, not oj and, well.. different. It could take some tinkering, so work your magic :)

Find any FA flavors for sale ?

I got quite a few compliments on the smell of the energy drink I was vaping. ;-)

I was walking around with vamo and aerotank.

Got questions about if it was like real energy drink. Or one girl who tried caffeine additive. One guy wanted to know if you can add tobacco in the tank. Others who want to stop smoking -- have seen ecigs but don't know enough to get started. But when I tell them I smoked for over 30 yrs most seem more interested. and i suggest going to local vape shop to try shit out / learn more.

Maybe time to make a ecig for dummies book?

Nice! That's so awesome. Boyfriend could care less about all the flavorings and scents. To him it all smells like cotton candy. A girl I work with asked one day what I had and said it smelled like cookies and cream. It was oreos, so I guess I did it right.

Search the recipes subforum for Marzipan - there are quite a few!
Haha I've already mixed up most of yours that had any in it. I did every one I had flavors for.
Check out my Not Pickles recipe.
Looks good! For some reason it never showed in the search... I was trying to make marzipan the star in a few mixes.

I should get the 50 flavors on Monday - can't wait:cool:

Have fun! I just about have them all now... even ones I didn't think I would be interested in.
It's funny how something you really don't like will make a recipe at times.
I have the spices coming next week and looking forward to using those.

Sorry Huck and Claire! I know one of you asked for the link some time ago, and I neglected to post that. Here:
http://www.svapo.it/index.php?option=com_jreviews&url=ricette/ricette/ricette_c48/

I have gotten several useful ideas there. Most interesting to me is just the way Italian vapers think to combine FA flavors. I'm still impressed with their use of sweet tobacco flavors in non-tobacco recipes. Most of them use more flavoring than I would, but it's still fun to read.

Thanks for that HIC! Agreed fun read and some interesting combos worth trying.

I still want some concoctions to taste like the real food counter part, but I realize that it's not always possible with what we have to work with.

Example: a good old simple strawberry pie. Between the fresh strawberries and that red liquid they put over them ( then the whipped cream) , the strawberry is what I am having a hard time with. I can't do it with FA strawberry......, the fresh part is a ok , but that BAM of a strawberry flavor I'm not able to get..... Yet anyway..... And I won't settle for "light" strawberry flavor.

Here's hoping I will find the right mix someday.

Thinking you might need something tart added to make the Strawberry pop, maybe FA Citrus Mix, Mad Fruit, or TFA Sweet & Tart?
Have you tried any TFA Strawberry Ripe?
I just got some but haven't tried it yet, too scared, lol.
Strawberry is another one I have trouble with also, it's just not right to me.
I've yet to find a Strawberry flavoring that doesn't taste fake or like chemicals.

Yes, I've used a lot of the TFA strawberry ripe. Now that I've used the FA strawberry, it's so
Damed realistic ( to me) and that's where the trouble all started. Lol. Now I taste the possibilities and I want to push it a bit further. FA strawberry Is just not strong enough for me as far as a strawberry pie or a strawberry short cake.

It's like the FA banana. Now I can't go back to TFA banana, but I wish it were a bit more potent at times. The walnut will bring it out some, but I've not found the secret to bringing the FA strawberry out more.

I think all of the suggestions y'all have given me about mixing different strawberries and even hints of rasberry is what I needed to hear, I guess it will just take some effort and patience on my part.

The sweet and tart, citrus and mad fruit never crossed my mind.

Thanks for all of the suggestions everyone. All of these suggestions end up helping me out as I mix.

Cheers :)

strawberry, cherry and vanilla are so hard to get right because everyones idea the perfect strawberry, cherry or vanilla or so different .

speaking of vanilla what I am vaping now. I always go back to trying to find my perfect vanilla flavor. I still havent found it

2.5% fa vanilla tahiti
2.5% fa vanilla bourbon
2.5% vanilla classic.

to me this is pretty high flavoring but if you have @Vaperstek nicotine give it a whirl . best after it sits a day or so but good to go shake and vape also. gets smoother with time

As much as I love the FA vanillas and the creams in mixes, as a standalone vanilla, I'm having the same problem. BUT... I'm not at VT nic, yet. Could be the only problem.

So true, Vanilla is another tough one.
If you ever smelled real vanilla from the kitchen, it smells yummy, but it tastes like shit from the bottle.
I've tried a lot of different combos trying to get a real vanilla ice cream flavor, but it just ain't happened yet, lol.
Wondering if TFA Vanillin might help, never tried that either.
Gonna give this one a go, as I don't think I've tried that combo yet...

I doubt ill ever find it lol. VT nic does affect fa vanillas in a way that you can use them at higher % and still get a nice full and clean flavor . I started liking them a lot better after using VT. vanilla classic taste more like the smell. I love that smell :p
