Was up till 3am putting wood on the fire, then setting the alarm to get up at 6am to put put more wood on the coals. Coldest night so far this season - 7, but not complaining could be colder. Just pray for the homeless, hope they found shelter and for the pets that the idiot owners leave outside with no shelter.
Back to bed for 2 more hours till the alarm goes off to put more wood on the fire. Have a good morning.

WOW!......That's COLD!......This almost 60*F weather in December, is NOT the norm for Connecticut.
I'm hearing the neighbors snow blowers right now, think we ended up with a little over 2 inches.
It's pretty cold for this time of year here also, although not unheard of.
That was me JUST YESTERDAY. We got about 6 inches of snow here, and it was about 32*F. CRAZY!
I'm hoping that this isn't a preview of how the whole winter is going to be. The older I get, the less I'm liking this. Really hoping for an early spring.
I can do without the snow.....although I know that it's inevitable, living in New England. Hopefully....any significant amounts, will hold off until January (when I get my vacation/pers./sick time back).
