BTW, all three methods suggested will work
Prolly make your vape taste bad.
I personally use 400 grit black wet sanding paper if the alcohol does not work.BTW, all three methods suggested will work
but clean with alcohol after any abrasive is used. Any grit left will cause the contacts to burn more quickly.

the bf mod pin to bottles snaps on head , and has done with a few people , Its just a weak point on the pin , just over top of insulator ,

I dunno I got V1 kits and they had no buttons just some orings and such for the atty. And an extra bottle as I recall?

I used isopropyl to clean the messy contacts on the DB160; worked great; once dried, no smell -- it's the freaking bottom of the mod, no way would the smell be a problem from that distance -- and this from the bionic-beagle nose.

True, entropy wears everything down. I'm a bit odd. Can know and accept something, yet still not like it. I can also know other things running counter to what it is I'm needing to accept. Take the post below for example. It offers me a bit of a solution as stainless offers better resistance to oxidation. I know it'll wear out eventually. That eventuality's goal posts get pushed further along by using the solution, gives better durability. Better durability gives us better value for like some frugal tight asses we might know.

I had read something about I thought, the long needles of the needle tip bottles going up through the 510 pin. Stepped away before seeing all of it, lost the thread.Do see how a FD 510 would work. Also can see needing to file it a bit. I can manage that. Had to file out the holes on the ChiNarda. Still didn't completely fix the whistling. Did figure out, don't use the inner air holes, turn the cap sideways and get no whistle.

Through it on the ole trusty TD 26650 and it vapes beautifully.
