Damn, they were about $6.50 a pack for Camel Wides when I quit, and I thought that was expensive! I was smoking 2-3 packs a day though and I am definately spending less on vaping. Hell, what I spent a week on cigarettes paid for my whole start up for vaping...Starter kit, batteries, and a couple of bottles of juice!

Mine were 2pks/$11 here in GA at Walgreen's, in the summer of 2014, the last time I smoked. If you bought them one pk at a time, they were $5.69. I'm sure they must be over $6/pk now, that was 5 yrs ago!
I think it's kinda funny. They started inflating the sin tax on tobacco because the smoke nazis told them it would encourage people to quit. And sure enough, it does. So now that a lot of us have quit, now they have to inflate it even more, to make up for the loss in revenue. Which gives the remaining smokers even more incentive to quit. At some point, 99% will have quit, and those idiot smoke nazis will be holding a very empty bag.
What kind of braintrust does it take, to implement a tax whose PURPOSE is to encourage people to stop giving you that tax money? The braindead kind?????
