firstly the subject of the thread is clearly stated....secondly there are about 200 threads on this board about some guy and his crown and new 200 watt robomod....so this is just a place for people who don't own a Mc nugget tank to chat about the way they like to vape...most of the people here have already gone through their sub-ohm phase......they are not really interested in reliving it.

What's with the animosity around here? I run into it a lot while surfing through this forum. There seems to be a huge divide between the subohming cloud chasers with the cereal box sized mods and the people like me... Simple little Istick 50w and nautilus tank with a 1.8 coil. I've tried subohm, it doesn't make me go WOW and it drains my batteries pretty quickly. While I appreciate all of the advances in this industry since I bought my first little V2 starter kit, I don't feel the need to try every new thing that comes down the pike. I'm happy where I am, it keeps me from smoking and that's what this about for me. If you're happy with subohm or temp control or whatever comes next that's great!! But why look down on those of us who really aren't interested in it?? Why can't we all just get along?

Ill toss in a couple cents.I do both. I vape a kayfun, protank, doge, aromamizer, and subtank. They all have their merits and downfalls.
If anyone here still has a protank and protank coils, Wrap a 28ga nickel, 6wrap spaced coil, @1.75mm (or whatever barely fits in the coil body's wick slots). It comes out to .06ohm and I use rayon to wick.
At around 400 degrees on my istick40tc, the flavor is really good. So good in fact, that the crappy little protank earned its way back into my rotation.
I refuse to use that term as well. Piffle-Poofer is the correct nomenclature. If you cover that tiny airhole completly with some tape, you could even vape in your own home. lolol
Well I just got a new genny ...a BMG22 from flow enginering...it is a 22 mm atty but the chamber is as small as a mini gen....as a result it really doesn't vape well under 1 ohm...it has a small airhole....I'm going to sit with it for a couple of weeks before decideing whether or not open up the airhole...but the flavor is intense...
My ADV is a evod2 or genitank mega with a 1.5 ohm coil on a istick50 ant 6-10 watts depending on the condition of the coil and 6mg nic.
I also use several different sub ohm tanks throughout the day with .3 to .5 ohm coils on a istick100 with 0 nic and various flavors.

And herein lies the problem: You post a question in a public forum and then attack the people that don't respond the way you want them to. If the prerequisite is that you don't want to hear anything from anybody who isn't doing the same thing you're doing then include that in your original post or stop getting butt hurt over people responding to your post and sharing their opinion.
Better yet, open up whatever word processor is on your particular type of computing machine and just write out the posts and responses you don't want anybody else to participate in. That way you can get out whatever idea happens to be in your head, type out the responses you want, and save the rest of us the tribulation and retribution of responding to your posts.
