Can you please stop categorizing people as the "bitch and moan" crew, I'm one of those 20 and hardly post on the forum let alone bitch when I do post. Also you're assuming that the 20 votes are the same people, where is your proof you back your statement?

Aw, come on man there's a reason why people like Todd, and Scott, and Pete have so many viewers they are good at what they do they are articulate experinced and knowledgable and they know what is and isn't relevant....who wants to watch some middle aged overwieght dude in a skin tight black t-shirt and a ball cap ramble on for half an hour grunting incoherently in his garage or worse some guy just blowing one cloud after the other......it gets old.
I never spoke in specifics just generalities. Birds of a feather do flock together. You see this is what happens when someone does not want to address the issue. They go off on tangents and try to change the subject. The Bitch and Moan Crew knows exactly who they are.

I expect all US modders to shut down.
The FDA hates vaping, they want you to PROVE that your mod is so safe that the stupidest guy in the neighborhood can vape it without blowing his face off.
Then you somehow have to prove that only smokers will want to buy your mod and teenybopper "I want cloudz bruh" won't (which is impossible to prove.)
Also people in the US can be sued out of existence if some assholes leg and nutsack gets blown off after he happens to stick your mod in his pocket along with 2 extra batteries, his keys, and change from lunch without locking the fire button.
I just don't see the point of the thread. I don't agree with either 1 or 2.
What is the point? Are you trying to get something banned because it's offending you in some way? Is someone invading your "safe place"? Is it personal? Can you not turn off Auto-play? Is it too hard to scroll past a post?

Just starting a conversation about something that annoys me and wanted to know if anyone else finds it obnoxious, no more, no less. If you call that being an attention whore, feel free.

They don't want clarity. Clarity, common sense, and decency are foreign to that group. All they care about is their little clique. No one else matters to them. They rarely help anyone outside of their little clique. They're just not happy unless they are Bitching and Moaning about something. Hence the name, the BAM Crew. Most members that are here for information and to talk about vaping normally just ignore them. Every once in a while you'll see them come out of the political threads to gang up on someone but for the most part they keep to themselves. It's really kind of sad on multiple levels.

Usually when one rallies support, it's for a cause. But not always, it seems. Which makes it rather pointless, IMO. But we all gotta vent sometimes, so vent on.
Personally, I don't mind the review links in vaping threads. I don't always see every review thread, and I'm glad when one just falls into my lap while perusing related posts. If I post about a problem with Tank A, and someone posts a link to their review of Tank B, it's still information, whether immediately helpful, or not. Now if I'm posting about the cute thing my parakeet did today, and a review gets dropped, then yeah, that's irrelevant and annoying. Same thing if I'm talking batteries, and cat pics start popping up. But I can ignore cats just as well as I can ignore reviews, lol.

99% of the time it is just a link and no text, not everyone has a ton of free time on their hands to just watch random 5-20 minute videos

I originally came to VU to gain info about vaping.
If the review that is posted is relevant I usually check it out.
I don't need other's opinions however there are some that I respect.
In the case of video reviews sometimes you can gain info about an item you may not have that could help you decide if you want it just because of what you see in the vid.
If I don't have time to read or watch the review I've found that with the years I've been using the internet I have learned how to keep scrolling or ignore the parts I'm not interested in.
Some people post the link to their review because they think it may be helpful or interesting.
Some post just because they want to.
If someone were to post simply to annoy others, that is their right in a free open forum.
That is one of the amazingly awesome things I enjoy about this forum, if I see something I don't care for, I can move on to the next thread.
No one forces me to read, watch, listen to, or be involved in anything.
Just like this post, if someone doesn't like it, they are free to keep scrolling.
Hell, everyone is also free to post as many replies to it as they want saying whatever they want about it.

Am I the only one that is annoyed by the habit of a few newer reviewers repeatedly reposting their reviews in other people's threads???
Examples:
Perusing the hand check thread: Here's my review of the latest greatest!!!! No hand check in sight even. Just trying to get traffic to their own thread.
Happens all the time in help threads - Poster: My atomizer won't smoke: Reviewer: Here is my review of that atomizer!!!
Just now, read a thread started to talk about a future review of a couple of atomizers. Another reviewer bombs the thread with his review

P.S. Build your review thread and they will come - or not. Stop ruining other people's threads reviewer-peeps - very annoying, and it's not just the serial-video reviewer I won't name

Na, it doesn't bother me. If I want to check out the review I click on the link, if I don't I scroll past. Sometimes I'm glad I clicked, sometimes I'm not, but inevitably I learn something even if it's just that a reviewer isn't worth the time for me.
There's also a lot more other kinds of fluff around and that doesn't bother me either. Life's too short to stress over the little things
