Hey had a quick question can anyone tell me why some people say not to use ss, ni, or ti on a parallel coil build? Wondering if that info is accurate.
Never had a problem running dual Ti coils in my OBS Engines (TC on DNA mods). As for Ni200… It's 2017, so it shouldn't be used at allTi and Ni200 should only be used in temp control and you don't want to parallel those.
Twisted 26 is my go to coil lol. It's my sweat treat spot. I like twisted 26 better than any Clapton's for vapor production. I'm going to try twisted Claptons. Wonder how that win fairI have always strictly built ss316l
some things to note:
Its a very stiff wire, so the coils you build will better hold their shape. Meaning less delicate when you wana seat and wick them. I run them in parallel fine, lower resistance means more wraps and bigger clouds. You can twist two 26ga wires with a drill (theres youtube vids) and get some crazy flavour and clouds.
From what i know, before you fire your mod will tell you the resistance. For safety i dont fire anything less than .2 ohms.
use a good brand mod, and good batteries. I suggest a smoant battlestar as it vents heat really well and sony vtc6 batteries. Over 80 degrees celcius. The batteries cut out so its pretty safe. Great mod/batteries.
if theres any help i can offer please ask
Yea Claptons are alright but the ramp up time versus a twisted builds of the same caliber is the difference in what makes them more accustomed to my style of vaping. Hotter faster denserI love twisted 26 and 24, they trump clapton, alien, tiger, whatever. Easy as possible with a drill and a friend. And the best part is how long they last.
Finally someone who agrees
