It should be noted though that not every B&M cares at all about rights. In every market you will have people who are only in it to make a quick buck. There is a shop like that near me. Guy doesn't care about anything besides selling juice to anybody that will buy it, and it is pretty crappy juice. I have a Vanilla Custard from him and it tastes more like butterscotch. Sometimes see posts on this forum about a vape shop staffed with people who don't have a clue about what they are selling to somebody. Honestly though, if a B&M could provide the options that you can get online (nic, vg/pg ratio, size), I would be more inclined to shop from them. That is what first turned me off them. None of this "oh, we only have 6mg, but if you buy a 6 and a 0, you can mix them to make 3mg nic" bs to gain additional sales.
One of the first things I learned when switching to vaping was to look at your monthly cig budget and use that as your vape budget. So honestly, the cost isn't too much of an issue for me. I just don't see a need to pay extra for the same thing just to give a 3rd party some money as well.
I may be jaded though. In the reptile community, DIY and avoiding B&Ms is a pretty big thing since most of the time the staff in a B&M is just people hired off the street and taught to lie to customers to gain a sale. Whether it be a lie about the reptile itself or just giving incorrect care info that will result in a dead reptile, all that matters is that the customer thinks it's cheap and easy to care for so they will be more inclined to buy it. They may not even know it's incorrect since it was what they were taught to do by the more 'experienced' staff of the store. As well as not properly careing for the reptiles while they are in the shop because of the cost involved in doing so. Instead of shopping at B&Ms and supporting these practices, we learn to avoid them and instead buy directly from breeders and make our own stuff for a fraction of the price.
Stores take advantage of people all the time. It happens in every market.
Went to walmart a while back to look for velcro straps to tie cables. It was something like $5 for a pack of 10 in the electronics section. But over in the hardware section, a pack of 100 was the same price. One simply cost more since it was in a different department and unknowing people would pay more for it thinking it was 'special' because it was in the electronics department. Juice is the same, just because it costs more doesn't make it better. And thinking that way will easily let people rip you off.
