Hey, hey.

Just starting to learn more about the ever-expanding possibilities and choices before upgrading to some hardware.

Thought I'd join the forum since I'm lurking on it every day.

I've been vaping since April when I dashed into a smoke shop clueless and walked away with a tsunami g-glass battery/clearo.

Still using the battery but now with a Kanger mini pro 3.

Definitely time to upgrade!

Cheers,
C

Well I'm burning through the "upgraded" kanger dual coil heads every few days. I still want to try rebuilding the discontinued ones.

But now I'm wondering if I should look into a different set-up altogether. Starting to think it's better to invest in good equipment.

It always costs more in the long run if you skimp on something cheap.
Sorry I'm so vague - I'm still figuring it out (and realizing how much I don't know!)

Hi Carla, welcome aboard! I still use a Protank 2 and a mini Protank 2. I enjoy them for on the go vapes, easy carry. I have those on an eGo battery and a Itaste vv3 battery. I also like the Itaste MVP 2. I'm just not into mechs. I spend more on DIY, and I'm ok with that.

I read that a lot of people use the single coils for the Protank mini 3 and add an additional gasket flipped upside down on top of the one that sits on the "chimney" part.

Well there is more experience people on the site that could help you.

I did the same thing lurking and watching a bunch of YouTube vids.

At work I use a vision spinner 2 with kanger ts3 tank with is ok for work. I also have a Mvp 2.0 and hana box clone. That I need to get a RBA (Rebuildables atomizers)

Getting into rebuildables is a lot of information at first.. but you will save a TON of money in the long run.. I have aerotanks as backups just in case one the RBA's fails on me and I'm not able to rebuild it on the fly.. but I just can't see myself spending the money constantly replacing the heads every few days like you mentioned..

luckily with this forum, and YT videos - getting into rebuildables can be a breeze nowadays. good luck!

Thanks Folks,

I'm so happy to be here!

Most of the juice I've had is from my b&m. Pretty blah and uninspired (dude had to call his boss about their mixing ratios!)

I'm placing an order at Madtown.

Any recommendations?

Cheers

We'll I'm in the uk so I can't advise. But I can say that @RocketPuppy has a pretty awesome thread on making your own DIY which is worth considering Carla

Definitely interested in DIY'ing. I'm restraining myself for the moment. Thought I'd sample some of the stuff out there first.

What's in your tank lately?

Well my adv has been pecan pie for a long time. But I won some juice here. Have a go in the contests contests contests section. You never know. Anyway, so I chose BananaFana. Really into custards and bananas currently. What are you vaping?

Honeydew (from my local.) it's one of the few juices I like from them.

Also, from my trip to LA, Mamas Cookies (24mg) and Sweet Melons (16mg) from Atom Bomb .

Love banana cream flavours....looking for a good vanilla juice.

Dark and custardy stuff - hard on the coils but I can't help myself.

I think If I had a better system I wouldn't need such a high nic content.

I vape a fair bit of 12mg stuff.

Good for quick nic fixes.

Tru tru. I still have my moments. Been making 7-10mg full vg (minus 20% pg flavour) and getting better hits with my kayfun.

I've got melon concentrate but I can't make a decent vape with it. I'm now about to break open some premade banana split to drip with before bed :) I've been saving this all week. But all this talk has brought it on lol

Still looking for an ADV - had no idea this was even a thing.

And yourself?
Well for an all day vape I don't choose anything too sweet as it becomes sickly, and nothing too dark and heavy, but I think that's bc I haven't smoked for a couple of years now.

A middle of the road vape for me is pecan pie or something fruity like strawberry/strawberry cream, banana, custard I guess. Or a beverage like sex on the beach or peach schnapps

Before I started making my own, I bought all my pre-made from Pure Vapes. Excellent stuff in the gourmet section, you can create your own flavors, and they have basic blends, too. You can get samplers with no nic, but I think his prices are pretty good, you can customize the flavor strength, throat hit, mg, coolness... He also happens to sell DIY flavorings.

I bought loads of zero nic juice in totally wicked's new year sale at 80% off! And I added nic myself and it's just right

If your looking for a rich creamy vanilla. I would recommend Vanilla Envy or Creamy Puddin by Trippy Drips. Those juices are crazy good.

I do wish it wasn't so pricey to buy from US vendors - I'm not sure if they even do it's such a hassle.

Got them bookmarked for future reference. Thanks :)

You could always email vendors for shipping pricing. Pure Vapes guys are great people to work with.

*pity alert*

I fainted this morning. Eyelid needed stitching. Pretty solid shiner at the moment.

Doctor said to rest and to order some quality e-juice.

Geez, that sucks! Hope the fainting isn't anything serious and you get better real soon!

Looking at their selection, you mentioning you like Vanilla and Custards, I'd go for:
Coconut Cream Custard (not a custard fan, but coconut vapes GREAT!)
Fluffy Pineapple (hell, those 2 mixed might be good!)
Key Lime Cheesecake
Tiramisu (I use this flavoring a LOT in DIY)

Those sound yummy to me.

Yeah def - coconut cream custard, and pineapple with fluffy marshmallow: all over those.

Not a huge cheesecake fan but their Key Lime Pie won some industry award (along with the Lemon Pound Cake and Palm Tree Smoothie)

They only charge $7.95 for shipping.

I've had a couple head rushes after standing up too fast but never fainted. It happens to tall people quite often I'm told.

Tests are all clear though (not preggers - woo!)
