Got it stuck in my head today that I was going to make a fancy coil. After wasting an inordinate amount of wire and my eyes are bulging out of my head I made several. Feeling pretty good about these, while not perfect they are not horrible either (except the last bunch, they are pretty bad).
4x28g NI80 wrapped in 38g KA1
2X24g KA1 wrapped in 40g NI80 (these were the most difficult for some reason.
2x26g NI80 wrapped in 40g SS316. I had pretty much given up at this point. Only one of these is usable but I wrapped them anyways.

Good job on those 4x28s. I think 3+cores are harder to Clapton than they are to alien, the always wanna bunch up!

Thanks. What I am not showing in these pictures is the 30'+ of 28g and possibly 100' of 40g NI80 that was sacrificed for the learning experience. I worked at a speed so slow I had time to take a drink and take a hit on the vape between checking tension. Started at 08:30 this morning. Finished at 15:00.

But I warn you, both spools Ive got of 57g from this place has had that adhesive/tape issue on the wire itself...making it useless when you get to a certain point on the spool...

I've got like almost absolutely positively no time haha, which is why my last couple posts haven't been showing an incredible level of ability, but this bridge is very awesome (if that's what it is). I never really understood bridge builds in the sense that I don't understand how the bridge can be built to not be conductive and if it really is not conductive I'm not sure what the purpose of it is. Even if it was conductive I wouldn't be quite sure what the purpose was aside from maybe lowering resistance. I guess I don't know much about bridge builds, never have really tried one. I do have to say the one you posted looks really cool. Even though it may not be super complicated as many of your builds are, it's a great piece of artwork IMO.Im at some crazy level huh? More playing with the braids. Super hard on my back ... so I'll probably never be able to anything overly complicated/time consuming with them. But a lot of fun non-the-less.

57g would not work for that - not nearly strong enough to pull and trigger the mine

There’s a guy who pops in every once in a while with braid coils, I think it was @danielabas ? His braids are awesome and his trick is being able to stop and come back in the middle of his braids

Its the first time Ive posted a full coil..or 2 of a Razorback. Ive never had luck with them in the past but I found something that has made them as easy as normal aliens now.

The USA Ohm Meter Drill Clamp, I slid the wire up through the side and then between the screw out the front. The Ridge in the middle of the clamp face rides the wire down and forces the ribbon on the right way....Ill I have to do is keep one finger on the clamp to keep it from spinning with the wire.
Yessir, I did some with .3 N90 Ribbon also yesterday, it was a bit stiffer and was a bit finicky in comparison but it did work out after a try or 2
