There's no "cage" in the mini or sub tank.

Yes, exactly like the nano, but bigger tank, same coils and comes with a RDA..I've got a pic of it on a Provari.. Another one my sister likes, lol

Ok guys I think that I will order subtank mini because I have 10 0.15 ohm coils for this. So you just have to unscrew it from airflow base and then you can screw the coil and that's it?

You mean 10-1.5 ohm coils right? Lol
Yes, uncrew the base from the tank to remove/install a coil..very easy!

This is not a casual distinction, but a rather serious health related one.

Please verify that you have the 1.5 ohm coils and NOT the 0.15 ohm Nickel TC coils.
Or that you have the 40TC mod NOT the 30 watt non-TC mod.

It matters... a lot.
I have 0.15 ohm nickel OCC coils and iStick 30W which has temperature control mode.
E: Oops, I have iStick 40WTC :D Sorry it is night in Finland so.. :)

I've had that cage come off too many times to count but never had a problem getting it off. Just an inconvenience. But the mini and regular sub tank are much simpler designs. ;)

OK I witnessed the whole situation here and Teresa you do have Patience to beyond belief lol
Well, I appreciate when others are patient with me....hard to believe I have an IQ of 159, but some areas are blonde as blonde can be....LOL!!

I was just having the same problem. I used a 14mm socket wrench and put the coil end into the socket, held the bottom ring (the part that screws into the battery) with a pair of pliers and turned the socket wrench in a counter clockwise direction and it came off. But then i realised that the piece that screws over the coil is necessary fot the glass tank to screw in.
