I am a very rarely in a hurry to get my battery is charged as I keep a few sets. I always charge .5 amps unless I have been lazy and my other batteries need charging as well. It is my understanding that this will increase battery life. So although replacement cost is minimal why be wasteful?
there is nothing wrong with charging at .5... never said there was... just what I would charge at... opinion... just as .5 is of yours.
But there is no benefit of charging at .5 with the 30T opposed to .75... just loss of time.
Being the OP's charger doesn't have .750... given the info above per Mooch... its obvious for longevity which he should use... since he asked the proverbial, "Which is best" But... some need to be told, rather than extrapolate it from the product data sheet. Which Dogman and yourself did... I just showed the alternatives.
As for being wasteful...I am glad you read the whole reply I had, but I am not being wasteful if I am using them in the Standard Rate of Charge...but that is my opinion, just as babying them at .5 is yours, granted you're talking about 30Ts and not some other battery/batteries, weren't clear... but I digress.
I'd still like to know this increase in lifespan mooch says is, even a rough estimate.
It's similar to reading, "50% more" ... ok of what though?
50% more of 0 is well (just my sarcasm there lol) ...
