a fully charged 18650 battery is 4.2 volts. that device cuts the battery off at 3.3 voltsHello , Who have smok vape pen 22 and voltmiter ?
can you please measure voltage WHEN FuLLY CARCGED ?
Building coil , know minimum is 3.4 volts. average 3.7
but not sure for max. i know that probably 4.2 , but would like to know 100%
no idea as they don't list the specs but it's always an 18650 or 18350 inside those tubes. actually based on the mah I'm gonna say it's likely a 18350 but the voltage thing is still the same.how you know its 18650 inside ?
and may be you know model ? how many Amp can discharge ?
dont see many 18650 battaries with 1650mah
I mean I wouldn't build on it personally. Plus it's regulated so ohms law doesn't apply. Also it'll have a built in amp limit and volt limit and it's non adjustable. Those are made to be used in a kit only reallyok . thank you
so its 4.2 max , default coil 0.3 om
4.2 * 4.2 / 0.3 om = 58 watt max can handle
and dont plan to use battery separately. need all this info for coil calculations
From what I've been looking at, that has a built in battery and is regulated. You don't need to worry about amps, since it will not work at all if your coil is to low in resistance (or to high resistance).it worked for me . wtih 0.5 om works even better then original. original more dry hit
just notice from your first post - that device cuts the battery off at 3.3 volts
so is it mean same voltage all the time ? when fully charged and discharged . all the time 3.3 volts ?
its make more sence.
sorry for many questions.
what 18350 has above 1K mAh?actually based on the mah I'm gonna say it's likely a 18350
It doesn't regulated the volts, they drop as you vapePlus it's regulated
usually, a regulated mod will keep the voltage at a constant 4.2v until it hits the 3.3v capacity. 3.3v is your low charge limit, discharging a battery below this can damage the battery, but to keep a steady vape, the circuits keep the current flow at 4.2v. Think of it like a tap on a bucket of water. The water comes out the tap at the same rate until the bucket is empty. If you put the tap 1/3 the way from the top, the water still comes out the same rate, but stops when the bucket is 2/3 full. That is an example, the actual circuit is a bit more complex.what 18350 has above 1K mAh?

No 18650 has that low of a mah reading.what 18350 has above 1K mAh?

It claims to have 1650mAhNo 18650 has that low of a mah reading.
Also it's regulated just not adjustable. Regulated means it has a board for protection.

Regulated is anything with a board. Unregulated is just the batteries powering the build with no board in between. They usually use a mosfet though but not always. The smok pen is defiantly regulated. Just not adjustableIt claims to have 1650mAh
and wouldn't that mean it is protected, I thought regulated meant it regulated the current so you get the same vape when the battery is at 3.9V as you do when the battery is at 3.4V?
To really answer this, you have to go look at the web site. In this case, yes, it is protected. It is a simple PVD. You put in the coil, you puff on the vape. All the settings are preset by the factory. It claims to have 1650mAh
