My method is a bit different. Here's exactly what I did:
Emptied 2 tea bags into an old infant's medicine bottle (about 30ml).
Filled it the rest of the way with PG, let it soak in, refilled.
Microwaved only a couple seconds at a time (2 or 3) until it got nice and warm.
Shook the bejeesus out of it.
I think it needed a little more PG to fill it back up.
Microwaved a cup of water til about coffee-hot.
Set the bottle in it, shook it, put it back in, shook it, let it sit.
Then the straining: I used coffee filters, but it was clearly inefficient. The PG took forever to drip through, and the leaves were still pretty wet, I tried pressing them, but the coffee filter gave out first. Next time I think I'll use a thin cloth of some sort, or a very fine screen. I imagine the screen will do best.
If you use my method, do not vape this straight. I use it at 6% for my taste, but it's probably best to test each batch individually, this being a somewhat crude extraction.
