The messed up thing is, I get it. They are trying to get then learning base 10 math. Why not at least let then just learn the basics first. unless they are going to get into engineering or some other heavy math career the 6 hear olds won't need to know it; but, they will need to know how to balance a fucking checkbook.
The sad part is if you try to help your kid and teach them the way you learned it they get penalized for not doing it their way. That's the exact reason for the Electoral College. Without it candidates would only campaign in the major cities and middle America would get fucked. I say this as a life long Republican NYer.
