The AG’s office says the arrests follow an ongoing investigation into a coordinated effort by political workers to recruit people who agreed to fraudulently claim residential addresses so they could vote in specific city of Edinburg municipal races.
“Illegal voting, particularly an organized illegal voting scheme orchestrated by political operatives, is an affront to democracy and results in corruption at the highest level,” Attorney General Paxton said. “Each illegal vote silences the voice of a law-abiding registered voter. My office will continue to do everything in its power to uncover illegal voting schemes and bring to justice those who try to manipulate the outcome of elections in Texas.”

Last month we looked at the news out of Texas where prosecutors had uncovered an organized ring of people who were “harvesting” ballots and then “helping” voters (particularly senior citizens) fill them out. They were allegedly filling in ballots by the thousands in a clearly coordinated effort.
I know that you’ll be absolutely shocked to learn that funding for the operation was allegedly provided by a former County Democratic Party leader who also tried to get her associates to refuse to cooperate with authorities when the law was closing in.
The method they used was actually almost clever. They allegedly were generating applications for absentee ballots in the names of other people, filling them out and then trying to get the voters to sign them. If successful, those ballots would have been very hard to detect during the final count since they were official documents mailed out by the state and signed by legitimate voters. Unfortunately for them, it all seems to have imploded.

Oh...we don't vote anymore....the California DNC just fills out our ballots and let's us know the next morning how much more we have to pay in taxes, and what freedoms have been taken from us...We used to have political dissent, but then the DNC decided to get rid of the other Parties by selling citizenship, and or California residency for votes....not having to think about running our own lives has really freed us up so we can focus more of our time on the things that matter proffesional sports, internet porn,our cell phones, and Netflix.It is kind of cool though we go on pretending that we actually think..and are a hub of intellectual life amidst the wasteland of redneckistans that makes up the rest of America. California always reminds me of the Lotus Eaters in Gulliver's Travels. Actually I've always thought of writing a book entitled..."A Heretic in the Pews or Huck Finns travels in the Land of the Lotus eaters."
