Not to go off subject though but do you remember how many clones there were of the DNA 40 Flask? VF put a stop to that with their Flask. They priced that mod so right that it wasn't worth it to clone it. I remember at least 3 or 4 companies that made pretty decent clones of the 40. Unbelievable how the market has changed in less than a year.

No kidding right? I know before I got my first real DNA mod, I got a clone of the dna30.
That chip was such a piece of trash. Firing delay, it went to sleep, it was totally inaccurate. A month later I got a real DNA board and was so happy with it,

I forgot which one I had but it was the one every reviewer said was actually better than the original. Lol. It had great battery life then because most subohm tanks didn't go over 40 watts.

Lol, that dual battery flask with the battery caps was my all day mod.

If they do a 75w squonk flask I will be I'm like a madman.
The battery life will suck, but I can rock that as an adv.
I came close to doing the lost vape squonk, but after the vt133 I'm done with lipo mods

Haven't tried squonking yet. You mean the VT200, yeah that mod ruined me for Lipos as well. Fucking thing spent more time on the charger than in my hand. Lmao.

I've been wanting to try squanking as well. I have even thought about picking up the first edition of the Kanger Drip Box just to fuck around with.

Yeah, the 2a charging is what makes the lipo mods I have work. If I didn't have that, I would be a pissed off Monkee

Those or even the 160 are not bad first time squonk boxes.

Dang yo. That is one nice looking mod. Do the flask also come pre-installed with profiles?

How's the finnish on it? More importantly the texture of the paint?

Thumb firing as a lefty is also really comfortable
The coating on this thing is stellar and super comfortable the ergonomics are better than I though - my first flask

The texture on the paint is more like a silicon skin than the dna200 and really comfortable to hold in the hand.
It's more sturdy feeling than the vt133 finish and about exactly what I was expecting it to be.

Does it feel like the paint on the Brightly colored VT133 battery covers?

It's well worth it. However it does have one glaring issue that is often not mentioned by DNA owners. Once you've used one that's all dialed in to the way you like it, all your other mods just sit on a shelf collecting dust.
Bingo, we have a winner. To give a more detailed response (than my first post of Yes). Like was said in the quoted post, once you use one, your other mods tend to sit on the shelf. It's the most accurate TC mod I've used. It actually puts out the power it claims. It's very smooth. It has a 1 year warranty. Evolv is a USA company that actually stands behind the chip. If something goes wrong with the board they actually fix it, don't give you BS that it's not covered because you got a deal on it etc. What a concept in this day and age. Most mods are throw away mods these days (if it breaks, toss it and buy a new one). The DNA200's are worth fixing if they break. Whew, I should have stuck with my short answer lol :D:giggle:.

Cheers,
Steve

YES. Short and to the point!

Cheers,

I gotta try one. I really need to see what all the fuss is about. People are spending serious dough on these boards and fancy wood stuff. If it's no different or less as good as my Rx200S (which has awesome TC) Im gonna be very disappointed In you guys. :b

The DNA board let's you give it mor commands than any of the others out right now. - which is the key

Been thinking about getting one . Might as well pull the trigger already

The kf5?
That is the ONLY TANK I use now ( just got my second one)
Works perfect in tc and being a good single coil it rocks with a Clapton build at 35-40w

Yes you set the type of metal, how much power, length if time and how far to preheat then you set you power ceiling and temperature

You literally set the entire facet of the vape.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe this is an actual chip with a 133w limit, not a DNA 200 limited by the 18650's.
The DNA 133 mods house an actual DNA 200 chip from my understanding, just throttled down to 133 watts, my only proof of this is that my efusion duo can be uprgraded from 133w up to 200w through escribe if you insert a lipo pack

It's a DNA 200, just not enough amperage to run at 200, using only 2, 18650s.
It's really that it's not enough voltage to run at 200 watts. Since the batteries are wired in series it's the same amperage. Two x 18650's in series is 7.4v (Nominal) and three is 11.1V (nominal). It's the same 23-24 amp input limit in either configuration (spec-sheet says 23 but the updated firmware says 24).

Cheers,
Steve

I could be wrong, but I think they changed it to 24 because of the fuse issues on the early run and opus

@Deucesjack, do you think ecig.com will sell the vf 133? I'm spoiled by their prices :teehee: I have the Wismec vf classic but I think this one would be better. Any comparison between the two?

Really no comparison. The 133 is just a better board. I love the form factor of the flask but the 133 vapes much better. I really want a Flask 133 but that price tag just keeps me at bay. I doubt ecig.com will carry it. I believe it's a Vapor Shark exclusive.

I hear you! I bought the wismec flask because it was $56 and I really like the form factor. If I had the knowhow, I'd try to put the FSK chip in it and be a really happy camper.
