Ok. Totally different in Mississippi than in Kansas. We have a bing cherry tree, we have lost berries because of being too warm, then get a hard freeze. Same with pears, grapes, pawpaws, red raspberries, black raspberries, apples, plums, and blue berries. Ok, I'm done.
We get a late frost ever once in a while here to. It just slows the berrys and the roses down a little bit. They come right out of it and do very well. I guess we are just lucky.

The funny thing is when we do get the fruit, the birds and animals get it first, except for maybe the apples and pears. Darn deer like the cherries and the grapes. The coyotes will eat the pears that are on the ground, when they get really hungry. But they can have them.
