Why do they always attack vape? 15 metals vs hundreds of chemicals in cigarettes? Cigarettes are ok but ban the vape throughout certain countries? I'll be the first to admit I'm not the brightest crayon in the box, and for the life of me I cannot figure out why vape is so bad. I grew up in Jersey, test that air, the damn water was contaminated from the power plant. Maybe I can at take away some good defense for when people go on their rants about me vaping.

Greetings Crystal.
I don't think "vaping is bad to society".
I know that vaping is considered a threat by several big businesses,
primarily Big Tobacco and Big Pharma which have been doing their best to fund slanted studies
to condemn vaping and augment the few dangers of vaping in order to scare
away folks who might give up smoking if they tried vaping.
I also know tax hungry government entities local, state, and federal
have done much to malign vaping and the vaping industry in order to have vaping considered
a "sin" in order to be able to exact a sin tax on vaping like they do on cigarettes and alcohol.
Consider that a pack of smokes one would pay over five bucks for in the states is less than a dollar in many countries in S. America.
Consider also that the global cigarette market is valued at around US
$700 billion,
in fiscal year 2010, the federal excise tax on cigarettes in the USA brought in
$15.5 billion in revenue.
In 2016, the US share of the pharmaceutical market was valued around 446 billion U.S. dollars.
Cancer research is a 125 billion dollar industry...
So in reality it is those gub'min entities and big industries that are harmful to society
but vaping is harmful to them because it competes with pharmaceuticals and disease and with tobacco companies which have deals to pay billions of dollars in taxes and punishment with big gub'min.
All those folks and their lobbyists spend lots of money trying to make vaping look bad to "society" but in reality most folks don't give a damn.
In fact some folks are beginning to accept vaping as "normal".,.The American Cancer Society just said:
Scientific Summary: Based on currently available evidence, using current generation e-cigarettes is less harmful than smoking cigarettes, but the health effects of long-term use are not known.
https://www.cancer.org/healthy/stay-away-from-tobacco/e-cigarette-position-statement.html
A study by England's Public Health concludes that e-cigarettes are significantly less harmful to health than tobacco and have the potential to help smokers quit smoking. The current best estimate is that e-cigarettes are around 95% less harmful than smoking..
Slowly the members of society who aren't blinded by greed and into not minding their own beeswax
are beginning to accept vaping.
As far as the rest.... ---- 'em if they can't take a joke.
