But I did get to have a delightful er.. late brunch, at Original Pancake House with the entire fam except my son in Hawaii, who actually phoned while we gathered! So THAT was nice!

Normally, I would have just met up with everyone there, and stayed on the bike all day, but the reality that the day is coming, that I may not even CATCH a particular Bday celebration, figured I'd ride in the car with everyone. Bikers know why dogs stick their heads out the window.

I have a couple of mech tube mods, just as backup. They're o.k., but I'm spoiled by knowing what my battery level and resistance readings are.....

This is me! I'll flip out without my regs. I love, love, love them. I've been trying to learn more about the unregulated world because I bought 2 for back ups, too. I made sure they work ok, asked a ton of questions, but I love my box regs.

Pete is a Yellow Crowned Amazon, at least 33 years old. He is wild caught (before the 1992) ban so I'll never know his real age. He has heart disease due to a poor diet in his previous home. His hobbies include flirting with women of all species, humping everything, singing opera and eating everything I'll let him.

Merlin is a 25 year old Congo African Grey. She is blind and has liver disease. Her hobbies include dancing, cuddling, playing crossword puzzles, and imitating farts. She can also dance and fart at the same time.

Oobie (formerly known as Sophie) is an 8 year old Congo African Grey. She speaks in more than 20 voices, including her previous owner's Bosnian accent. Her hobbies include destroying toys, getting into everything and keeping the rest of us old farts active. She has recently learned to dance.

Rowdy is a 17 year old Nanday Conure. She has been with me since she was a baby. Her hobbies include being the guard bird, cussing at idiots, flying like a lunatic, and teaching Pete how to act like a bird (poor Petey was very deprived).
