It shows I have 29 points. 3 times I've asked to have them converted to a gift certificate. 3 times. We cannot convert until you have over 10 points. Am I missing something. I will never order from them again because most of the points are from a cancelation.

Fasttech loves you and wants you to be happy.

Seriously, they've really stepped up their game over the past couple of years, improving shipping times and customer service. If you ask CS a question, they'll respond (relatively) quickly. All that said, open up any page at their website and. while logged in, go to your name at the top of the page (just to the left of the 'view cart' icon), click for the drop-down menu and choose 'Gift Certificates' (second item from the top). Your points, whether accumulated by a cancellation or a return are automatically converted to gift certificates. It's not unusual to see several as every amount, no mater whether pennies or dollars, becomes available to you. Any variance, as CS. They'll respond in, well, you know ....

Disclaimer: No association with the company whatsoever other than as a customer for a few years.

FastTech ain't Gearbest.

No. You're not missing anything.

Like @SailCat said, they do respond. But the replies you get don't always match what you ask. It gets to the point where you start questioning your own writing (communication skills) or sanity. It would be easy to blame it on a language barrier. But I really don't think that's it. I deal with the same bizarre stuff from Americans who speak perfect English. Who knows.

I go in expecting zero. So when I get what I ordered, or they actually communicate with me, it's a bonus. That sounds really bad, but it keeps me from going insane. I was absolutely floored when they refunded my CC for the discontinued pieces from my last order.

The thing is, their prices are so freaking cheap, some mistakes don't even make a difference. Like if my 50 battery wraps were shipped in the wrong color. $1.25. Who cares.

I normally deal with companies until they reach "deal-killer" level. Something extra bad. They haven't reached that level. (Yet?)

I'm with you on your assessment there.

Fortunately, when I first bought from them I was already experienced with buying from Chinese vendors because I have another hobby where some of the best products are only found there, you can't even buy them in the US for any price.

After our first successful FT order, my wife got a little braver and ordered direct from China for a couple things. Those worked out well.

Might be entertaining to mention that one of the things she bought was an adult Totoro onesie/hoodie. The top has Totoro's ears and face. Only sold in China. She wears it when she watches Miyazaki movies. It's hilarious.

... I need one of those hoodies! Your wife's a keeper.(love me some Ghibli, Miyazaki obviously the best, but even the non Miyazaki Ghibli stuff is amazing). It's not Ghibli but it's the same style and I'm sure your wife will love it if she hasn't seen it... Wolf Children, just a beautiful movie on par with Miyazaki.

All of that being said. Why when I have 29 points showing do they say they need at least 10 to give me a gift certificate. I am missing something there. But I personally will never order anything else ever from them.

If it's anything other than communication problems, it would be speculation. For example, there could be some strange exception floating around amid some of your points. So you see one pile of points (29), and they see a smaller pile (less than 10).

Thanks Jerus. She just got Tokyo Godfathers a few days ago, so she needs a new movie for her wish list.

You are joking right?

Fasttech has delivered 3 counterfeit products in a row to me. One being a replacement for the first, which they admitted was fake. It has been 12 days, and they won't even respond to my service ticket.
