I bought it for errands. I have so many mods, I wanted something to be able to just pocket quick and go...
Oh gee, you mean the beater-mod (LE80) isn't grab-n-go? Doesn't fit in your pocket? Yeah, I know it's big, but I take mine everywhere... and I know if I get sidetracked the batteries are going to last me all day. I wouldn't count on an ultra mini like the Mini Volt... but that's just how I am. Have an eVic mini but I still take the Lotus.

Thank you for the kind words. My post wasn't addressed to you. I question the utility of a little toy like the mini volt. I put it out there to someone I know has other mods that are far better and cooler than this little POS. If my post bothers you, you're free to ignore me. Chill out.

I actually see exactly what Izen is saying. A small capacity battery that is not removable is not a mod I want to take out. It looks great, probably works well too. But I chain vape a fair bit. So I'm not dissing the CoV but it is not for evryone. I also take a beater when I go to work - an old IPV 70w. Even having to screw the damn battery plate in is okay. One spare battery and I'm good to go.

Okay even running a .45 build at 38w I get a good 3-5 hours out of a battery. That's not sitting around chain vaping, i think everyone agrees thats not the point of the device. I have been using it when I'm out shoveling lovely snow we got dumped with, and haven't had the battery die on me once.

It is, and so are my many other options. I can throw one battery in my iPV Mini 2, or a tube, and bring extras, or I can use one of my dual battery mods and be good all day. I still will probably do the same. This thing is nice for stuff like going to the store. I used to end up just going with out a Vape if I was going one place. The plan for this is to have a tiny setup to just grab. That's all.

I'm gonna email the City here in a few. See if I get a reply, then I'll try calling. Still not sure what I'm gonna do, since it does work with some attys, and the ones it won't I don't plan to Vape with on this, but it is a matter of it doing what it's supposed to do. Wether I use it that way or not, I want it to function properly, however, I can admit from a troubleshooting perspective, it may be some of my attys, not the box. Doesn't make sense, same builds same attys, but lots of things don't make sense. Anyway, I'm just gonna see what they have to say, if they respond. The LowPro included with this makes me more patient, I already got a good deal mod or not. I'm now just going to see how the City handles this.

Not looking to blast a vendor here, but I figured I'd update. I emailed them soon after my last post Monday, it's Wednesday, no reply. Checked my spam and junk folders, too, nothing. I included in the email my original email sent within an hour of delivery last Thursday. I'll call them today. I think I'm keeping it at this point, I like the RDA, the mod works for what I'll be using it for, and again, I won't discount the possibility of some of my attys not agreeing with it. That shit happens sometimes. I can accept that it may be an issue with my attys, not the mod. It doesn't make sense, I just want some correspondence, though. Not too much to ask IMO.

I just presented the situation to them and asked what they want me to do. It's strange, I've seen people saying that they never get a reply from ecig city, some say they contacted about the Mini Volt specifically, and were told to send it back, as they are aware of issues. So, I don't know. Again, I'm not here bashing them, I got two good deals, they were delivered, so I suppose it's not that big a deal. I do know that I will not order from them again, unless some correspondence occurs, and is logical and polite. I know I always am polite, it tends to piss people off when you keep your cool. Also, no reason to be any other way. It won't get you anywhere. I suppose if you've been in this thread, it may be good to know about their lack of customer service. You can make your own decisions from there. We will see what a call gets me this afternoon.

That's my position. I emailed them. They never replied. I was polite. The deal was good and they shipped promptly, but it's hard to maintain faith in a vendor when they won't give you the courtesy of replying to correspondence.

Yup. I ordered before a couple people in this thread, and it never shipped until I emailed them last Tuesday just to check on the status. Then I "magically" got a tracking number. In all fairness, it did go out that day, but I think I needed to nudge them. All in all, the deal was right, I'm liking the atty, the Mini Volt is ok, loving my second LE80, and pleasantly surprised at what I thought was a gimmick in the Sense Cyclone. $5 for it was worth the risk, and it actually vapes nice, though it's a fucking tower. I still think fans in attys are a joke, but it delivers.

Point is, I'm a bit surprised at the lack of customer service, as I see this site being pushed on multiple "deals" websites which I consider trustworthy. Now I know, and anyone reading this thread does as well, so I've made up my mind that I won't order there again, others can decide for themselves. At least they aren't burning anyone, and they actually are shipping things out. I still don't know how you stay above water with no customer service, but what do I know.

I ordered from Ecig-city on 1/24. I've emailed them 3 times, have gotten no reply and order is still showing "PROCESSING". If I don't get a reply to tonight's email, I'm cancelling. I won't be ordering from them again.

I'm sorry to hear that. I never heard a peep from them. I kept it as I think some of my attys may not agree with the device, in spite of them being fine on all others, but they never replied to multiple kind emails. I think I may be too nice at this point in my description of that "business" but they seem to have a lot of happy customers. Seem to have a lot of lacking communication, too. Good luck, I hope it works out. They have good deals, but they're a one time, and last time site for me to do business with.

Looks like a nice little niche mod for grab and go short runs. I'd like to have one charged up and sitting on the shelf next to my keys. My Kbox won't last forever.

I can attest to it being a great little guy! I have 3 internal batt mods, the tesla nano 100, smok r80, and the mini-volt. Not super wild about the mini volt tank as it whistles when pulling on it, but still good flavor nonetheless. I find myself running the mini with my goliath v2 rocc coils at 35 watts. It sits on my nightstand for those middle of the night wake and vapes! :) Battery life is actually pretty darn good with it, and the fit and finish is great. Vapesocietysupply has the kit for $40ish if you use the %10 coupon.

I love the look and idea of the Mini Volt but just can't pull the string. It's only slightly smaller than my much-maligned Cloupor Minis. I've used a couple Cloupors for pushing a year with zero problems. It won't fire below 1 but I use Nautilus Minis at about 12 watts. The single 18650 gives me over a day of pretty heavy vaping. If I want to go tiny in a different way, I could use my Innokin Itaste VV.

So I don't have a niche to fill or I'd buy the COV Mini Volt in a heartbeat.

The new defiant tank is out now as well, they used the topfill from the mini-vengeance to make it even better! I ditched the .8 coil in favor of the .2 and am much happier with the little tanks performance....couldn't get a satisfying pull without the think making a hell of a lot of noise. All in all I love my little mini-combo, works great and will most likely be snagging one of the new red ones as well.

Isn't that the tank that comes in the mini volt kit?? People been calling it the mini vengeance but it's actually the defiant..

True, it can fire the lower ohm loads, but you kill your battery quickly. :p

This is my first post here, but I felt the need to let you guys know mine took a complete shit after less than a week. No power on, no screen, no charging, lowest ohm build was .34 on a royal hunter mini. Shops near me are having returns in droves. I'm a 12 year navy vet aviation electronics tech specializing in electronic attack jets. Great idea, but My personal recommendation would be "the nugget" unless I got a defective unit, which seems less likely due to local customer returns. Hope this provides some info.

Strange. I have two CoVs - neither are a problem. There might have been a bad batch sent to your neighborhood. Sorry to hear your problems. Now personally I do not use the CoVs - my wife does and she does not vape hard at all. It is good for vaping as an MTL I think. Which is what she likes. That said she prefers her Picos - she also has two - by far. The Melo 3 suits her style of vape and the batteries last her three days - she is at 18 watts.

The CoV has a place for some. You have to take for what is was designed for and not make it something else. Just as a by the way she also prefers her Ego Aio which is a great little set up for MTL guys. Maybe the best buy out there.

I've been hearing a lot of the same happening to others so I am in constant fear of my beloved mini volt dying on me. One issue I do have from time to time is the mod staying stuck on the last little bar when charging and not displaying full. It happened for a few days and then just stopped. Do you have the older or newer version? You can tell by the color of your screen. White fonts are old, blue fonts new..
