I have kept quiet till today, and anyway someone did already start a new on topic thread for the Merlin, so I say let it sling, if this ends up in the "mud pit" so be it. I think certain things do need to be out in the open.

I opened the other thread and I've been talking to @roxynoodle asking her to come back to that new thread. We need her valuable input. I realize they're slow to ban people on here but calling a sweet lady s cunt is too far. @roxynoodle rescues parrots and so do I so I know her for something besides helping make great subtanks. This is a sham. That channel decided to bash Joe and Tyger Tyger and there was a big stink about it. I realize this jackass didn't go as far but still went too far I think. If he called my wife a cunt I'd be trying to find a way to figure out where the hell he lives. He should be banned because of the things he's done. I love this forum and how much leeway we have to vent but this is too damn far. Plain and simple.
I went back to see what the hell happen here and I watched the review/first look..

Spare glass is now on FT as well. No drip tips yet.
Going to wait for the price to drop then pick up 2-3 more. I'm loving the one I've got even with a slightly jacked up afc.
I did make an observation yesterday while recoiling (screw that notch coil). I never tightened down the air flow reducer screw. It was slowly working it's way out. I noticed as my coil was really close to the deck and as it turns out it was the screw and not the deck.
Not sure if they all do that but something to keep in mind if you run with the screw in and get shorts.

I make my juice around 85% VG, and there's a fine line between having too much wick and dry hits and too little wick and leaking! However, these are still my favorite tanks, but it would be simpler to wick them exactly right if I reduced my VG a few percentages!
With Max vg, I could definitely get it to dry hit if I wanted it toI'm sure it's for the better.... Thick juices

I ran pure walmart vg in mine at 35 watts for 15 4 second hits didnt get a dry hit on it
That was with a premade clapton coil at .61 ohms from a local shop
Well it looks like our high VG friends may need a bigger hole

I said I would put up some build pics when I got my contest winnings so here is one of them. It's a 28/40 fused 4mm screwdriver. The merlin as you guys have said has amazing flavor. Vaping like a champ at 34w. Not sure what the one guys issue was but his loss.
Just want to say thanks again to Roxy and Augvape for the contest.
