Its a fulfillment building. Basically a giant (1/4mile by 1/8 mile) warehouse full of shelving and packing lines. An order comes in and a "picker" runs around with a flat cart pulling things off the shelves. The companys mail the goods to that warehouse and amazon does the rest for a cut.
I worked as a contractor in that building fixing broken systems for almost a year.
I've got a panoramic pic of the inside somewhere. I'll see if I can find it tonight.
