I wasn't going to say anything, since I said I wouldn't bother y'all with my opinions anymore, but this is something I've been wondering about -- my son is FATALLY allergic to coconut ANYTHING, and I've been concerned that VG from palm oil might bring on anaphylaxis -- but it's NOT from a coconut palm?

51'st birthday was yesterday and thank god thats over. Wasnt in a celebrating mood to be honest. The new revolver showed up and thats sweet and the ex said order what I want and she will pay for it so am gonna order an 1873 Colt this week :D
The ex's sister showed up last night bearing presents. That girl has a bad case of cant shut the fuck up. A while back she asked me to set her up on facebook so I made her password "chatterbox". :giggle: Ended up calling the ex and asking her how long before she gets here (she wasnt coming but was trying to be polite to the the sister). Once the ex found out her sister was here she came right over and told the sister she had to leave because the ex was going to give me my "special" birthday present :shades:. The ex's sister finally left and then had to get rid of the ex. The ex been trying to get me between the sheets for months now so she can use that for a reason to move back in. I dont think so!

With luck, today will be a better day..........

For sure! Prolly several. She is super into flora/fauna. She is going to LOVE the trails in our woods. So there is a few days. I'm thinking Henry Ford Museum, Detroit's Art museum.. maybe a 2 day trip up to Mackinaw island to see the bridge and the U.P., Gotta leave a good impression to take back to Switzyland...

I just don't like to bother people who find my opinions intolerable. Never know when something else I say will bother someone anew. I'm very opinionated, and rather than try to be someone I'm not, I just won't go where my opinions are unwelcome.

But I do need info about palm-oil-based VG, so as to make sure it won't be a serious hazard for my son. Any info about that will be welcome and appreciated.

Well, hellz. The Merlin has been working O.T. on my scoot friendly rig. Decided to give her a warsh. Took out the deck, rinse. Took off the topcap, rinse... just in time to see the O-Ring go the way of the washwater. Thank goodness comes with A SINGLE spare. In my defense, it is THE only device I think I have, with an O-ring that has ZERO retention in the design. Time to order a bag, or 10...

Just a quick in & out to say GFYS & ax a question! Mixed some of my peach /mango juice the other day same as always & it turned cloudy & still is! What causes this & is it OK to vape?

This is not a question for me to answer.

I recommend having a skin test done if you have any reservation. If he is allergic to glycerol that would be a very serious problem in general as it is used in many products including toothpaste.

Any time I use Sweet Mango in anything it gets cloudy. Sometimes it clears up, sometimes not....but it always vapes the same. I've even replaced my Sweet Mango a couple of times by getting it from different places and it still does it. I have noticed that if I heat it and shake like crazy that it will sometimes clear up when the bubbles go away.

No -- I had thought I might just get some of their soy-based VG, because of this problem, but if the palm oil that VG is derived from isn't a coconut palm, then it shouldn't be a problem.

To the best of my knowledge, coconut is the only allergy my son has. Never any issues with anything else, and I know that VG is present in a GREAT many foods and personal care products. So, maybe this isn't a problem.

But I think Boden is right; probably safest would be to put some Vg on his skin and see if it causes any issues, before he tries inhaling any of it. The allergy is so severe that simple skin contact would probably cause a reaction, if the VG is coconut-palm-oil-derived.

I appreciate that, but apparently not everyone feels that way. I haven't left VU or anything -- where would I go, ECF? HAH! I just won't inflict myself on this thread more than is strictly necessary. I'm still in a lot of other threads, particularly those concerned with DIY, and I'm on Twitter poking at ANTZ and the FDA/CDC many hours a day. :)

Is all of their VG oil palm based? So if I choose any of their VG's it will be the oil palm based? I don't see any oil Palm or coconut palm description so I want to make sure I'm picking up the right one... like this just to try a small bottle

Mainly I'm looking for the most sweetness I can get out of my juice without using sweeteners (other than marshmallow or other flavors to add sweetness which I do use, just want moar).

We are all opinionated to one extent or another, so what. If someone dont like your opinion thats is their right but also their problem. I for one value your opinion for the most part. It was explained to me that the Palm oils is their source....... Once you see and taste it you can tell the difference, I'm not asking you , or anyone to buy the oil from them.... But I purchased many from different companies even these guys......

Never tried Rocky Mountain VG but it claims its Kosher food grade but it is also very expensive. I paid $36 for 4 gallons and $25 shipping which works out to $15 sumptin a gallon. They want $40 for one gallon with free shipping.

Google Essential Depot and give their VG a look if you want known quality at a lot cheaper than Ebay.

Ive tried VG from a bunch of places and none really stand out as being great or bad and I don't mind spending a little premium if it improves my mixes. Especially with how cheap DIY is, I'll throw a few bucks at trying something different.

Buy what you , or anyone can afford...... I Vape Mazola if necessary and I'm broke....... I was buying this VG for 177ml or 7 oz $9.12....at Wal-Mart then I found this 42.5 oz delivered to my mailbox for $14.55 or something Like that........

I tried DIY shack VG, Wizard Labs, Bull City Vapes, Bulk Apoth, MFS and Essential Depot and could tell no difference in taste or performance in any of them.

Yeah, the only pics of me are still pics, in which I'm wearing a couple lbs of makeup. The only people who get to see me in my natural state are my husband and family. :) And I wouldn't have a clue how to make a video anyway.
