I'm looking at buying a Wismec Reuleaux RX200S during the upcoming July 4 sales.
My understanding is you can charge it via USB. However, YouTube videos I've seen warn against it for "safety reasons". I'm not sure what these safety reasons would be. But they suggest changing the batteries manually instead of charging them inside the mod. Mike Vapes on YouTube is one of the guys I think I remember talking about this stuff.
So do you guys charge via USB?
My thing is USB charging I'm considering kind of critical. If I'm out driving somewhere and my battery goes low, I definitely need to be able to just plug my mod into a USB cable to charge it back up. And really, even at home it's a lot easier for me to charge via USB too. Because I have a really nice charging station set up beside my bed and I just plug in when I fall asleep at night.
I'm just getting into RTA's and RDA's. I've successfully done a build or two. But there were problems with them. Need to keep practicing. And it's looking like a good idea to have a 200 watt mod. I'm sure I could build higher resistance coils that would work better with lower wattage mods. But I'm thinking not fight it, go with the flow, and get a 200 watt mod... I kind of want one anyway.
But, I'm not finding any 200 watt mods that are recommended to be charged via USB. Unless you guys tell me to blow off the safety warnings for charging the Reuleaux RX200S. Then I think I'm gonna do that.
