Edit: supreme thanks to the person here that recommended I give the Tornado a try. Wow, my Supreme finally has competition and if I had to rate at this moment, I would say that Diana is now second....I will reserve more time and flavor testing bit I'm seriously blown away!

Be careful giving the Limitless too much power. I believe @Deucesjack top cap melted (the inside). It looks like the new ones (Plus) have a metal layer inside.

I never bought any Kayfun attys, almost feel like I'm missing something in the collection. The tight draw might not be my usual style but I understand they're flavor attys, therefore the tight draw doesn't bother me.

Love dripping in the Petri V2, on the VT...the only dripper I haven't had bottom fed, although I have three other Petri's BF. Thought I may as well keep one for dripping rather than squonkin....flavor galore either way...!

Funny, saw it for the first time yesterday. VapnFagen did a great thorough (enough) review and I chose to pass on it after. Definitely not me. I still have about 4 KFs collecting dust. Ready to pass along to my sister that is all about MTL.

I was running dual SS claptons at 85 watts and 500f. I was chain vaping and I did notice the tank getting hot but not to the point that I thought it would melt. I contacted Ijoy and at first they offered to send me a new chuff cap then they wanted to charge me $18 to ship it. Then I went to ecig.com and they wanted to replace the chuff cap for me but they didn't have any so they gave me a $5 credit which was fine with me because I only paid $15 for the tank. I ordered a Magma v2 metal cap that is supposed to fit from Fasttech that cost $1.35, now the waiting begins. Lol. Totally disappointed in the lack of customer service from Ijoy. Kudos to ecig.com again. Thats why I use them. Tbh honest if the cap didn't get loose I might not have even noticed it. I only noticed it because I went to rinse out the chuff cap and it seemed real loose when I pulled it.

My first tank was a Kanger subtank mini and the RBA base was always having connections problems in temp control regardless what one tried.

Last year I ended up buying eight Subtanks. I am still using four of them at the moment along with my Aromamizer Supreme and Boreas. And I never had a problem with TC with my Subtanks. The only thing I can think of that causes some to have problems is the bottom pin of the RBA base is really a screw that holds the top deck together. And that can get loose from time to time.

I bought the Merlin and Boreas and I am giving up on both of them.

I never had a Merlin, but what don't you like about the Boreas? As the Aromamizer Supreme and the Boreas are very much alike with only a few differences. I do like the drip tip, looks, and the deck better on the Boreas. Although vapor and flavor are the same between the two to me.

But it's a new one and no leaking/seeping at all (yet).

Don't know how many revisions it went through (2?), just glad I held off till now.
Needs a little tuning, but I think it'll be a keeper.

Not that I own a Merlin, but I know that you tend to dial in what I consider a cooler vape....what temp and watt did you try. I might try raising the temp and watts to see if the flavor production increases, if you have not already tried that.

I say this because all of my tanks require different "power" to run at their sweet spot. People complain about the Griffin, some love it...I love it but it is a finicky bastard and my settings for it are a bit different than the Supreme. Setting for the TFV8 are like 15-20 watts north of where I normally vape at around 65 for me. 65 watts is way higher than I ever go on a Supreme.

I hope that helps..or you just might not be a Merlin fan.

I have 2 Merlins, both set aside for now. They're supposed to be MTL tanks but I found them too airy, even with the airflow restricted. They have to wait until I have enough time to make different restrictors with smaller center holes.

Your not the only one, I think it is an ok tank but over hyped for sure. I have tried different builds, current being a vertical spaced ss coil, but it has never risen to the level of great flavor wise. The Mage I just got kills it for flavor, not even close.

Not ready to give up on the Merlin and I do think it is a really nice looking tank. I just am not understanding the hype.

Ha ha... that's not out of the question. Some tanks do perform better when they teetering the fine line of seeping/leaking. The Griffin can be like that in my collection. Works best for me when I feel there is occasional seepage in the air channel. Not leaking tho lol, just a little moisture, seepage.

I'm one of the guys that gets great flavor from the Merlin. I'm running a twisted 316 SS coil set real high on the deck and I love it. I wick mine so you can't see the cotton in the juice holes. My cotton sits just above the metal ring in the juice hole. I also thin out the cotton a little with a dental pick. I just started doing that and it seems to help all my tanks wick a lot smoother. My favorite single coil tank so far. I have some Raspberry Custard in there right now at .26, 82 watts, and 500f and it's a glorious vape on my Hohm Slice.

With all the QC issues with the base of the Merlin it could be that we got a bad one Steve. I even got a replacement base for my Merlin but still it is not blowing me away, maybe there is another issue with the bases and it is a crap shoot on which you get. I was going to order a black Merlin as well but glad I held off, I am OK with the one I got but definitely don't need another.

Edit: When I see @Deucesjack comments on the Merlin I am convinced my replacement deck is also defective, the JF control works but there must be another issue, that's all I can think.

My wife used the Merlin tank and she loved the balanced Vape but doesn't like how it gets Random leaks . Now it leaks into the 5-10 connection and she is very protective of her new VT133 so its now on the Vape shelf . Just got 2 supreme tanks and a Mage tank and will build two of these today for comparison .

Now it leaks into the 5-10 connection and she is very protective of her new VT133 so its now on the Vape shelf . Please let rm know what you think of the Supremes. Mine stomp all over the Merlin when it comes to flavor (more vapor too but that's to be expected with a dual coil RTA and less restricted airflow). I'm just trying to figure out if I got a bad one.

I'm back to frustrated with the vape so I'm going to yank the coil and try something lower that I can throw some wattage at. This thing shows the Last Power average below 20w half the time even with the temp cranked to 480 (wicking loses it much higher)... it is 1.1 ohm after all. Though I've got a smaller 1.1 also in 430 in the Lil' Serpent and it just plain chucks. Go figger.

I'm torn between trying a Notch coil... or another shot at the 430, but around 0.6 or 0.7.
That's not a lot of decent size wraps... quite a span with the V posts.

Or I'll kick it's ass with a fat 24g 316 like the Bachelor.

And I popped the Stumpy Cap on the 'Mizer. I love it.
I like the proportions of the medium short tanks better on the 133s as well.
They look sharp... and I'm getting them freaking color co-ordinated.
