I might be interested in a silver now. You looking share a tip or are you offloading?

I assume you mean one with a silver body?

Sent from a random device, most likely a LG V10
I could use red one if you know where they're available at a decent price.

Unfortunately I think they're all black body/silver clamshell.

I hope I'm not bringing down the wrath of the forum on the CS peeps from ecig, but after seeing many people in this thread say that they'd talked to someone from ecig.com who said they were out of stock and didn't know if they're be restocking, I was surprised to learn that, via my wholesale account with them, I have access to 5 VT133. I wasn't sure if the VT133 was still hard to find at a decent price, so thought I'd just throw it out there.

@Steve: I think it leaked because it was sitting and bouncing around sideways. It's probably is a good idea to close the flow control if you are going to do that.
I've had mine laying on it's side in the passenger seat lots of times without that happening. If you've ever driven on Michigan roads you know it was bouncing :giggle: (I've driven to California and Arizona a few times and I can say without question we have the worst roads). When it gets really hot I dial down the JFC though. I also pack my base pretty good with Japanese Organic Cotton. I fold the cotton under the coils and it's completely covering the base (it overlaps). I just make sure there is a clear tunnel under the coils so the air can go from 1 coil to the other underneath. I probably over-wick compared to some/most (I don't spare the cotton) but it wicks so well I never get dry hits. Now I'm only using regular coils with 28ga SS430 so it might be different if I was using beefy Claptons.

Is that a statue or Jesus in the background? He blessing your mods
The big thing behind most of my pictures is the base of a lamp my Grandparents left me when they passed away. Depending on your taste it's either beautiful or ugly (not much in-between). It was expensive as hell and weighs a ton but that's not why I keep it. I keep it because it reminds me of them. The small thing behind the Blue covered mod is one of those swirl candles on the outside (the inside burns).

True, you can get away with it lots of times. As long as it doesn't loose vacuum you will be fine. Tipping upside down, you lost vacuum once again. But that is okay since juice can't leak out through the air holes that way. These tanks works like those tube water feeders like in bird cages and such. As the water doesn't all run out is because the natural vacuum at the top prevents it from happening. And when the vacuum becomes strong enough, it forces an air bubble or two through the water to the top of the tube. And it works well. Your tanks bubble the same way for the same reasons.

But hold that water tube on its side the right way and you lost vacuum and gravity is free to empty the whole tube of water. Same thing in our tanks. Once there is no liquid between the vacuum side and the outside air, vacuum is lost and gravity just empties your tank. You might also notice that once your tank gets low on juice, they can loose vacuum very easy since there isn't enough juice to keep the two pressures separated. And they often leak when too low.

Bill, I know how tanks work. I was just saying it's never happened to me. I thought maybe it's because I pack my base pretty good with cotton (the juice has to go past the cotton before it could come out through the vent holes). Just posted it for the new people getting them in case they weren't sure if you could pack it or just had to have the tails touching the bottom like most tanks.

PS We have pot holes here big enough to swallow my Focus lol. If anyone doubts how bad Michigan roads are just google "Condition of Michigan Roads" :(

Cheers,
Steve

For those who wanted to know about the Mage tank . Good quality tank . Huge on the flavor . Can't adjust anything but airflow . And if you are older and have worn out body parts like myself . Find your happy place before you install the chimney section . Rotflmao

How would you compare the Mage to the Supreme flavor wise? Still waiting for my Supreme to show up but the Mage is one of the best flavor tanks I have.

I was confused at first on how to put the chimney back on. Had to read the manual and see i have to line up the notches first before screwing it back on. I thought i had broken or got a faulty one at first...lol

I am still working out the supreme tank for the flavor . I ran out of Clapton wire yesterday . I remember reading something about twisted wire . Did some you tube watching and going to attempted to spin a set up and give it a try . Everything else about the supreme is top notch they thought of everything that could be a issue and made it perfect .

Yes I understand. I too have put mine on the side too a thousand times and it never leaked. Although all it takes is that one time it lost vacuum and boom! It unloads the juice.

P.S. I know all about Michigan and I am in Michigan about 12 hours a week. I live a mile from the state line. :teehee:

I like fused 26 36 ss 317l in mine but also trying 24 ss 317l regular coil Around 3mm spaced today and not sure I can tell difference.

That's been my experience as well with 317L 24G. I normally just build a normal 8 wrap around 3mm when using 24G 317L. They perform right about the same to me and waaaaayyyyy easier to build.

I guess the principal behind fused is getting juice into the coil itself but not sure what that does. Steve?

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
Yep, kinda the same thing with the original Genesis style tanks. The wire mesh acts like an absorbent and thus wicks better. In my experience, especially with the wicking design of tanks like the Supreme, wicking is not a problem so no real gain in my opinion.

Now, increased surface contact with any type of coil will typically lead to better flavor/vapor. I build big 8+ wrap coils in lower gauge to achieve the same affect without the added work these days.

Edit: the "rolling" of mesh wire creates a metal "blanket" which traps juice. Fused coils are similar as juice is traped in the smal gap between the fused (parallel) coils which are underneath a "blanket" of claptoned wire. This all works together to trap juice longer for increased flavor and for the cloud chaser...Bigger clouds.

Should rename thread. Anything about people who vape vt 133

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
Maybe something like - You like to vape, well you came to the right place :D. I really like this thread because it seems like we just sit back and chat without craziness. Lots of good tips/ideas to try. Different, mods, attys, and even some DIY stuff thrown in. A very nice place to sit back and relax at imo.

Cheers,
Steve

I cheat and buy the wire, but it is one of my favorite coils to use.Good stuff starts at 4:30

I'm too cheap. Everytime I think about caving, I can't get past the cost of like 15ft of wire...where do u get yours? I would do it if it were just a bit cheaper for larger quantities. I guess I'm so used to buying wire by the 100ft+ roll. Man, I would be happy to buy a 50ft roll for about 10-15. I'm probably dreaming tho, right?

Well, I'm not set up to create exotics so I've bought a bit here and there.

For today though... :D

Got an order in at Wire and Stuff/ Crazy Wire.
A couple small rolls of SS Claptons (that'll be new) and a few fatter gauges of 430.

I tossed in a couple sizes of 304 to try out as well.

Now we see how long to get it a third of the way around the world. :p

Mad, absolutely not... Appreciative, ABSOLUTELY!! Thanks. I did see your post about this, but yeah... over my threshold for what I am willing to pay. Now if they had clapton SS options... I would be all over it. For Kanthal... I guess I will just suck it up and make some if I really wanted it. To be honest though, I usually just twist up some wire and get very similar results/fraction of the work :)

Oh, btw in spirit of this being a somewhat anything goes thread :)... I twisted up some 22G SS 317L and 28G SS 430 in my Supreme and am using it with TC on my newly acquired Hohm Tech G2 with fantastic results! Brilliant. The G2 was just the addition I needed to add to my DNA collection :)

Yeah, I saw that sorry...what I really mean is that I would like to see the option of SS 430 or 317L as a clapton option. All I am seeing is 316 which I've had a terrible time in TC with. Unless I missed it??? :) I would love to have missed it :)

The Supreme and the SS Clapton coils are finally broken in..Flavor & Clouds for Days:giggle: I love this RTA:cheers:
Did you have to hook the tank up directly to an 120ml bottle of juice? :giggle::giggle::giggle:. I don't know why but while I was typing that I was laughing. :D

Cheers,
Steve

Edit In my head I'm picturing an 120ml bottle of juice feeding the tank via IV.

Ha ha...thinking the same. I feel that way with my twisted! To be honest, I have found that the Supremes are thirsty regardless and don't notice a drastic diff across build types! Just thirsty or slight more thirsty

OK, lets be honest here. Haven't all of us that have had the tank awhile checked it at least once to see if it was leaking because we can't believe we already vaped the whole tank?:D

Done that. Especially with my Boreas. After you fill it, it bubbles for a few seconds and like an 8th of the tank is gone. Sometimes I feel like I can see the ejuice going down as I vape. Lmfao.

If i get some spare time tomorrow. I will make some 430 Clapton coils and send you a sample..430 25awg wrapped with 430 30awg. It's cheap and easy after you get the hang of it. You need the thicker wire to make them though....I only use 28 &30 as a wrap.

I was lazy and used premade 316L. Great wire though! Don't know why, but 316L is a lot better than the standard 316 imho.

The thought occurred to me that if some of us from this thread got together we could open up one helluva a vape shop. Have you guys ever walked into a shop and thought who orders for this place? They must not be a vapor. Man we have the good stuff. Not necessarily the most expensive but we know what works well! Not to mention we could definitely give out some good advice. ;):D
