Are you in the Valley of the Sun? The only place I've lived that was that hot is Mesa, AZ.

No, I know...what I'm asking if you experience any accuracy issues in TC...sorry for not being more clearYou can use both, just like any SS. All my mods play nice with 316L in TC....excluding the 213 never tried TC with that mod

I was describing it to someone back in Michigan one day when it was 119F like this. Think of standing in front of an industrial hair dryer as big as a warehouse blowing the heat right down your throat. Felt like I was gargling with sand at timesI'm in Arizona, it's dry heat alright...just like a convection oven..........

LOL, I was in a thread where people were talking about steeping their juice with heat. I told them if I left it on my dash for 5 minutes I'd be lucky if the glass bottle didn't melt. Talk about people that overthink things.
I always said steeping might make some juice taste a touch better but it won't turn crap into gold. If it tasted like crap when I made it, all steeping did was make it taste like old crap. I use to piss them off but I believe that.
They had some rituals that were hard to fathom. One time I told them I only steeped under a full moon while dancing naked in my back yard and chanting. The juice had to be a tub of hot water at 139.4 degrees being circulated by a prop turning 55.2 RPM's. They weren't amused, but I was laughing while I typed it.

The silver layer is quite thin, there is copper layer showing underneath. It would be great in all copper, but I think that is a thin plating layer as well.If you polish the Silver cover you might have to add some Velcro to stop from dropping it.
