I was one of the first adopter if tc - I had a DNA 40 beta before they went for sale. The choices were nickel or Kathal and that was it.
At the time no one Carrie annealed or tempered nickel and the shit was a pain in the nutsack to work with. It also tasted like a lemon flavored tampon until it was broke in.
Once it was: it was beautifully smooth

Now I won't use the shit because I have stainless steel and stainless steel doesn't taste like tampons.

Just say no to vaping tampons

Well there goes that idea:giggle::blech:

I got my new topper for my VT133, my black iJoy Limitless Plus from Heaven Gifts arrived today. I'm loving it, easy to build, easy to wick and tons 'o flavor! They really listened and made the improvements that made me hesitant to get the original Limitless RDTA. It looks great on my VT133 and all the color options would pair nicely with all the colored doors, if I can ever find them.......

Actually the black box Kotex U 'pons have a 100% Rayon core which is of excellent quality.
You just have to skin them and gut them to get at it.

The Rayonati list of quality.

1- Pharmaceutical Rayon - the original Rayon Wick and still arguably the best.

2 - DM/ elbin viskose balls & Tidi large balls

3- Delascos medium medical balls / KU Rayon

4- Sallys Graham cellucotton Rayon / FF

I use the DM Viskose and Sally's regularly.

I need to get my Limitless RDTA & Limitless Plus RDTA out of the box and build them! Looks great!
worth the effort. I try to at least build upon receipt... otherwise it takes a while. Right now, I am evaluating 3 new toppers on 3 new mods :)... These regs have tremendously stepped up my vape game. Hard to believe that I was using that I had prior to the last 3 months of purchasing

I thought I read something about people (iirc Australia) using tampons as wicking. Maybe it was your wicking.:giggle::giggle::giggle:. I'm actually not joking about that, I read it somewhere (might have been ECF).

Cheers,
Steve
I shudder think what else ecf people use for wicking,
- the hair of a virgin goat
- the bearded ladies beard
- classwife's mole hair?

Anybody else order a VT133 from eciggity? If so, what serial number did you get? They must have gotten one of the first shipments. My first one was 1000 something. Second one was in the 8000's and three and four was in the 9000's. Well this one from eciggity is 0107.

My Black on Black bought on the 4th sale from VapeNW is in the low 4 thousands. The last two I bought from Ecig.com (a few days later) are in the 9 and 10 thousands. I see a trend here. Places whose prices are high still have earlier serial numbers. Places like Ecig don't. I wonder why (no answer necessary, that was sarcasm:D:giggle:)

Steve

I refuse to try classwife's mole hair.
Ok let's play the game

No other wick material is left in the planet
You have a choice

Santa Zen's beard or classwife's mole hair

Which do you choose

I just watched DJLSB's video on it after seeing it was crazy cheap at Ecig. I'm seriously thinking about it. I've been trying to hold off until the Lavabox 75 comes out. Should be soon, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be at least $100. I'm trying to decide if I do get one, which color would look the nicest.

Cheers,
Steve

Too bad I just ordered a Glycube from Essential Depot (well really not too bad since I'm running low on VG). It's a crazy deal as well. You get 4 gallons of VG or PG or any combination you want for a little less than $60 shipped (I went with 3VG and 1PG). I think their VG and PG are top notch! It's all I use. This concludes the DIY segment for today :D

I'm pretty sure I said I was done buying DNAs... it was a wild two weeks. Oops.

Soooo... what would it take to get @Wingsfan0310 into a DNA75?

How about a shiny new, sleek SMY model?

How about for $50?

You know who, at you know where (Ecig) is plum crazy. o_O

:p

(Bill posted it over there... didn't say if he bought any though.)
I've had a silver SMY SDNA75 for about a month, I really like it. The SMY is very compact, about the same size as an Evic Mini. The silver is much nicer looking in person than the pics I've seen, very sleek and simple. I wasn't so sure about that horn, but after using it, I rather like it. The fit and finish is very nice as well. Very tempted to get a black one at that price........

The mod resistance on my SMY SDNA75 is 0.002Ω, this is not just the setting but what it actually is. I pretty much did away with Daniel's settings but out of the box for most folks they're pretty darn nice.

When Daniel handled his, the camera showed fingerprints all over it. Does it look that way in person too?

It's really not that bad, unless you have juice on your fingers or something. The brushed finish helps hide them and if you do see a couple, a quick swipe with your finger gets rid of them. I like it, I wanted something durable and wouldn't chip in my pocket and such.

The main things stopping me is I'm just not a big fan of single battery mods. It seems like 25 mm RTA's wouldn't look to good on top (mainly what I'm using now). Also since getting some Clapton wire I've changed my power level to 50 watts and preheat to 80 watts. My VT133's aren't even lasting all day so I think battery life on a single 18650 would be pretty bad. YMMV

Cheers,
Steve

Man I shouldn't have came into this thread. I'm so tempted to buy a smy sdna75 for 50 bucks. So damn cheap. Question is how's the battery life with a single 18650? Probably better than my evic vtc mini because it's a more efficient DNA chip.

Same here, my sweet spot in tc is between 75-95w. Most of the time I am somewhere in the middle of that. So I really have no use for a 75w mod. Battery life is also important to me so running a 75w mod at 75w all day is just not practical. I'll stand with my Vt133 and my Slice for now. That 133 Flask is real tempting though. Damn you VS.

Ok guys have a question . Please remember I am a new to the rebuild RTA game . I placed a big order of rolls of Clapton wire when I received it it has SS on them . Which means both gauge are stainless steel correct . And if so its for temp control and only build coils spaced ?
