This is why I do not understand all of this "Shops closing August 8th Regs" bullshit.
I mean what were these motherfuckers not even paying taxes or something?

i dont get it either. they have until dec 31st to sell just the way they are except no new items, age restrictions, not building coils and setting up product for customers, and labeling requirements
which if you read the regs there are all kinds of provisions concerning when the labeling has to be done based upon when it was made etc

then by dec 31st if your a business you have to register with the fda which is free (something I didnt know until this article)
the main 2 types of retail businesses effecte dby the regs are
1. those who make their own juice
2. those who sell custom coils

the manufacturers like ijoy, aspire, kangertech etc are the ones who will have to spend the most money and effort to get their products approved for sale in the USA market

retailers who mix their own juice are the most effected imhoand need the most help

but a place like 101vape.com or code3vapor.com or many of the online retailers have little required of them by the new regs.

prices will probably be effected. brick and mortars will be heavily effected since I would guess that a majority of them mix their own juice and that constitutes a majority of their profit

But those stores have a new opportunity open to them if they are willing to grab it. I agree its 100% BS and according to some things may be simpler for them they they think

for example I have read somewhere that say I was selling one of my recipes we will go with something simple
4% Flavouart stark apple
3% flavourart fuji apple
1% The Flavor Apprentice Red Hot cinnimon

so lets say thats my recipe
and i use VT nic
and I use ED pg/vg

that my main thing is to submit my list of ingredients. its up to the manufacturers of teh individual ingredients to submit all teh testing data etc to get the individual ingredient approved
one the individual ingredient is approved its a matter of submitting the list of ingreints and labeling and approval should be given IF all your ingredients have all ready been approved

and If any of thos eingredients were available pre 2007 they should be grandfathered in and not need individual approval

now I have also read that what I just explaine dis entirely false
and each e juice maker will have to test each rewcipe and pg/vg variation and nicotine variation THEMSELVES to get it approved

I would love someone like Greg Conley who is active in understanding and fighting the regs to write a similar artice to explain what the regs as a whole require juice makers and custom coil makers to do. maybe I shall attempt writing him an email or something.

also no free samples.
but you can charge a dollar for someone to sample the juice and even offer a dollar discount on a purchase.
you just need to add a "sampling SKU" to your product list.

none of this shit is rocket science but then again some of these "vendors" aren't too smart.

There was a B&M near the local college campus that charged $1 for tasting. They used to allow folks to test the juice in their own attys, but as usual some asswipes went in and filled their 8ml tanks, took a few toots and left. The $1 was a freakout to those mooches, but they still came in with huge tanks and filled all the way up, took a few toots and left. So the owner got a bunch of Ego One's with the .5 coils and tethered them to the counter, gave the folks who wanted to test flavors a disposable plastic drip tip. The mooches screamed about that as well since they couldn't get a $1 fill up of a giant tank, they had to actually buy juice. O Boy did they hate that.

The B&M closed down there and moved due to "inventory shrinkage" or simply they were getting their wares ripped off if they left them out on the counter or in an open display case. Even with cameras the assholes still boosted any thing they could get, if they could get away with it. There's a HUD housing complex a block away.

There are a LOT of thieving assholes who vape that will steal anything that isn't tied down.
That's why you can not let your mod leave your hand at any vape event or B&M

Vendors have to watch out for "tag team couples".
One goes to the vendor and asks a bunch of stupid questions down by the cheap shit while the other one is cleaning out the expensive shit.
A lot of times a chick will be the distraction while a dude will be the thief.

By the time the chick walks off the dude has already been gone for 5 minutes and is bringing the car around.
By the time the vendor even notices the $2500 worth of high end shit missing the chick has vanished into the crowd already and even if the vendor catches up to the chick what can he do to her?

She hasn't stolen anything and she has no stolen merch on her. All she has to say is "What the fuck are you talking about? I don't even know that dude".

The vendor is beat.
