Need help pulling the trigger

First off I'm new here so I'd like to take a second to say Hello.
Also, I'll say thank you in advance for any replies as I might not be able to comment while traveling.

So, a little disclaimer about myself...I'm a google junkie. A review junkie. I have [literally] spent the last 72 hours watching videos, reading forums and individual reviews...

At this point, I might be more lost than before I began. LoL

What I have been considering so far: Wismec rx200s, a Fuchai 213 (though not so much after all I've found), or a Spartan Box mod.

The Wismec seems a little rough around the edges to me but I do think it's a good value in the $45 range.
The 510 issue worries me, though I'm not sure how justified my feelings are there.

The Fuchai seems like a trainwreck.

The Spartan Box mod interests me but I'm nervous at the lack of information on this one. Not necessarily the specs as much as the real world reviews. First hand experience for a length of time.

So, I'm interested to hear thoughts and opinions. I'd also consider other mods.
I'm looking to power a tfv8 and avocado, velocity, tsunami, etc type rda's. Anything that can easily run those without issue will qualify for me.

Right now I can get an rx200s, a goon rda, a tsunami rda and a tfv8 for the same price I can get the Spartan with an Avocado and a tfv8.

Thanks again and I look forward to chatting with you all.

(Sorry if posted in the wrong section, I looked all around. Move if necessary)

I have no info on the Spartan and don't recommend the Fuchai 213 from all the bad I've read about it. The RX200 is supposed to be a very good mod, but from what I understand if you use a TFV8 on it, and it messes up the 510, your warranty is null and void. Now I have no idea how they would ascertain that you've used that tank on it, but they do claim that using it voids your warranty.

Do you have a link to where it says that using a TFV8 voids the warranty or is it just one of those you heard things?

I've heard that it was claimed on a warranty issue. They don't mention it specifically on their site, but they do seem to have an out on it in the last line in clause 2
.WISMEC agrees to provide after-sale service under warranty pursuant to the following terms and conditions:

1. This warranty provides free replacement if authentic WISMEC product cannot work due to the quality problems, in the precondition of non-artificial damage. Warranty period is 90 days from date of purchase by the end user.

2. This warranty will be void as a result of any of the following conditions:
* Customer does not provide original receipt of purchase.
* Product failure or damage caused due to improper use or unauthorized repair and alteration.
* Product failure or damage caused as a result of excessive force such as dropping.
* Product failure or damage caused by improper use of water or other liquid.
* Product failure or damage caused due to usage with non-WISMEC components (charger, battery, power cable and so on).

3. This warranty does not cover personal items or consumable goods and attachments, including but not limited to: mouthpiece, cartridge, atomizer head, lanyard, and leather sheath.

4. This warranty does not cover any non-genuine WISMEC products. This warranty is only valid for authentic WISMEC products within 90 days after date of purchase by the end user.

WISMEC reserves the right of final decision in all warranty cases. WISMEC may interpret and revise the content of this warranty terms.

Thanks guys and thank you for the Welcome Steve.

I'm attempting to quit smoking...again.
I really like the Lavabox so maybe I'll just wait and save a bit more cash and get that. :wait:

The section that says non-genuine refers to the warranty and not use of.

There is nothing in my original manual or on the site that says using a TFV8 voids the warranty.

No problem at all and good luck on quitting I did after almost 40 years of smoking so it can be done.

Hope I'm not too late, but I wouldn't go with either of those. If you have a price range I'd be happy to make you a suggestion

Welcome to the VU! :D

The Cuboid is one sweet mod for 40 bucks or less, yes it is limited to 25 amps, but for my style it is great and Joyetech is on top of updates.

I know a few people who have the RX200s and the TFV8, no issues. Thing with the 510 pin, affects all of JoyTech products, they use a shitty 510 pin. Just don't wrench down the device, if you have to use mod guards as spacers (good idea anyway to use them).

I've seen people use the tfv8 with the Smok H-Priv or Koopor Primus on occasion. Koopor is made by Smok, and I have their 200w Plus. No issues but less than elegant menu and its a brick to carry around.

I have an rx200, not an s model, but later in the model run, so maybe the 510 pin was improved by then? It is working ok with the tfv4, though the display is now getting a little wonky.

Not a masterpiece of qc but cheap, disposable. It works, but I wouldn't bet on it being around 2 years from now, like my vw.
