omg he reminds me of my old dog.
Yes some vets are excellent. When my Shepard got put down the vet came home from xmas holiday to do it and didn't charge full price.Called my vet today after having some issues this morning with my little girl and the Doc said come in this afternoon. I was dreading it because my balance there is pretty high after a recent scare with my pup but I went in anyways to make sure we didn't have an issue over the weekend. After the exam the Doc told me that SHE needed to know we would be ok through the weekend and sent me home with some meds and no charge for the visit. Best vet ever!!!

. When we lost Cleo, we didn't look for a dog because I had a dream (you might find this crazy) but I had a dream that I was rescuing a dog out of a flowing river/Creek.
. Thanks for all of the suggestions, we will definitely try. We don't bath him that often, he sounds like he is going to die from getting wet, lol.
Sorry for all of your loses, very sad. When we lost Cleo, we didn't look for a dog because I had a dream (you might find this crazy) but I had a dream that I was rescuing a dog out of a flowing river/Creek.
Well a year went by and it ended up that we did rescue a dog from a family that was abusing her really badly. But before that family had her, she was dropped off on a dirt road by another person who was abusive. Her first 5 months of life was hell. She was infested with fleas and ticks. The baby teeth she had left to lose came out clear because of not getting feed right. Her paws get torn up from running, was always putting bandages on them. But we had to cut down on how much we throw the ball because she has asthma. And a few years later she got cancer in her tail. Thankfully it was at the tip and just the tip of it had to be removed. So far cancer free.
We got Duke from our neighbors across the road. They were moving and was going to put him in doggie jail. We had known him for a year, he would come over and visit when he would get off of his chain. We couldn't let him go to doggie jail. They agreed to let us have him.
Sorry for long story, I'm done.
Big time high energy breed, be prepared to need to work a lot of that out of them.....LOL, anything terrierMy mom had a wire fox terrier when she was was a child so whenever she sees one she get all nostalgic.
Me if I were to get a small dog, would probably get a jack russell terrier.
We'll no doubt wave at each other while out on our pup walksThey say Heaven is what ever you want it to be, I'll be the guy surrounded by animals and a select few people.![]()

Got some stuff to put on Duke, can't remember what it is called at this moment, but I hope it works. It helped my brothers dog. Will let you know in a few days /week.
A girl I worked with ages ago had a full grown one. I loved that dog. Drove out to her house one morning, parked my car... turned to open door. DOG. His face covered half my window. He just stood there, wouldn't let me out. Hahahah! He was so awesome. I had to roll my window down and holler for her so he'd move enough for me to open my door. Such a gentle dog, really. He was just awesome.Big Dane pup, huge paw paws, LOL
