Overdose v2 rda sonar battery awt 3.7v 3000mah 40a
normally i'd say buy only LG and samsung batteries, but that battery according to mooch is likely a rewrapped Lg Hg2 anyway. Overdose V2 is a mech mod. SO you battery is a 20 amp battery max. I would say don't go over 18 amps with it.

If you are doing a single coil, your resistance should be about .35 so a fully charged battery will be 12 amps which is fine. If you did a dual coil it would be about 24 amps which isn't safe for your battery. You would need LG HB2, Hb4 or HB6 for that.

I'd recommend learning ohms law and how it works if you want to continue using mechs or to switched to a regulated mod.

Until you get an ohm meter I suggest you NOT......do not build anymore coil for that mod. I prefer not provoke some do gooder politician making laws or regulation to protect vapers from themselves.

No. only an LG HB2, Hb4, or HB6.

A general rule is don't use any battery that isn't a samsung or LG.

1) Battery manufacturers lie about their power. Don't believe the amp readings on batteries. Here is a list of batteries and their real ratings. (the green column is their safe amp rating)

2) only use samsung or lg batteries and only buy from known retailers as there are unsafe clones out there. illumn.com and liionwholesale.com are 2 good sites

3) why are you using a mech and not a regulated mod?

4) as another user suggested, get an ohm meter. You shouldn't be building for a mech without one ever

All of those batteries are good for about .2 to .25 ohms or higher. How many ohms do you have? I calculate about .18 ohms and 23 amps draw.. I wouldn't vape that.. but many competion vapers might.

I

have ohms reader it says in at 0.10 ohm
at .1 there isn't a safe battery on the market for a mech. period. at 4.2 volts (fully charged battery) and .1 ohms thats 42 amps at 176 watts. You should never build lower then .15

Out of the hb2 hb4 hb6 which would you adi even to go for ? Im going to order some now

If you can find the pink HB6 those ones. If not the rest are all the same. but again, your build isn't safe for any battery. Why not just use a regulated mod?

Fair Enough, but you really should learn ohms law and safe batteries. Your lucky you haven't blown your face off yet TBH. I'm not saying that to be a jerk either so don't take it that way. I'm saying that because you ran 42 amps through a 20 amp battery with no protections. Also your battery is no longer good and should be disposed of after doing that. 30 amps damages the battery
