LMK if you need more back-ups.

I may be in the market. Really borked the pinch again.

This is what's left of the 510.

it had been arcing while we were at the beach. Woke up one morning to burnt wick. Didn't realize how bad it was. Guess it had melted the insulator of the atty. when I tried to remove it today, I snapped the pin off and this is what was left behind. I'm lucky I didn't have a hard short, since I've been using it for a week like that. My pinch doesn't like the beach. That's when I burned it up last time. Gonna take some work to get it functional again.

Free garden fresh veggies are always good, well, almost free lol. Momma Saint is actually my Mom, No worries, Your not the first to make the mistake. She got the name from someone here (I looked at one point but couldn't find the origin), but there have been a couple people in my grow group that have made the mistake.

Your list is a bit more impressive than mine, I started at 8 too, Riding that big beastly hog around the driveway... and by big beasty hog I mean a 78 Honda spree lmao then there's the suzuki group, a TC-100 and a TS-250 both from '73, Then we adopted Bonnie, She's a TS-250 from 1970 that my dad found at a yard sale for $100. I think it cost us a tube of gasket maker and of course, a good carb cleaning. Bonnie doesn't quite have the same UMPH as Suzie, but she's still alot of fun to ride... Lots of conversations reminding me of ex gf's lately, hmm lol

I was planning on being a mechanic through high school, but I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, which started causing a lot of pain and some nerve damage when I hit about 18. I would have friends pat me on the back and it would send the most painful shock down my spine that I would immediately let out a quick scream. Now I put all the time I would've put into bikes into plants of one variety or another. I have some Romanesco seeds coming today. A really badass vegetable if such a thing exists. its kinda got the Fibonacci sequence within the Fibonacci sequence.

Always, merr etc. I'm thinking I'll give mum cash. With a note that she can either get sciatic massage+cab+coffee Or winter clothes.

Thoughts, as mothers?

Got a statement from my medical insurance provider today. Unless I'm reading it wrong, they are covering most of the expenses I incurred during my "adventure" except for my ambulance ride. :stars2:
Good. But an ambulance ride is about $1200 here if you aren't a member or a pensioner.

They are requesting additional information from the provider before they process the claim. I didn't request the ride - they had to get me to another hospital that the specialist/surgeon was at. Even if I have to co-pay part of it, it is way less than the other stuff that's on there.

Either way, it was profound . . .
almost mystical. :hamster:

I've always found you to be profound....and mystical.
Mainly because of the Swedish accent and the pineapple aura that surrounds you.
Your mad knitting skills just send it to another level.

How you feeling PoiBoi?

You gave me the scaries there for a while.

I'm not enjoying the professional wood cutting much anymore.
Big corporate structural shakeup....lots of fired folks/friends....

If it weren't for my envious schedule, I'd bolt.
Might bolt anyway.

Was slow before I went out sick from work. Must not be much busier now, because they told me to take the rest of this week off. I think I'm about ready to go back. Hope I remember what to do after 7 weeks . . .

Don't force it. Take it easy and let the minions do the heavy stuff.
You just sit there and look pretty.....and profound.....
If anybody gives you shiate about it...tell them you know the bad banana gods keeper.
That should stifle them a bit.

I'm good, except for the scar and, I think, some displaced ribs on my left side.
Kind of lost 4 days when I was in ICU, so I really didn't know how sick I was. Wife has been filling me in on what went on - like the staff asking if I had a living will, etc..

Doctor said no lifting over 10# for 3 more weeks, so all I really can do is sit around. I do plan to limit my hours to 8-9 versus the usual 12.
I'll keep you and the keeper on the down low for now - my boss's and co-workers saw how crappy I looked when they came to visit, so they aren't pushing it.

Pffffft.....I've done 4 lost days many times.
I don't like that living will talk however. I'm kinda a snowflake.

I'm just glad you're kickin good enough to be back here.
Slow down and mend. Hawks decree.

And that rib thing.......will probably haunt you for life.
Ribs get all pissy when you f#%k with them.
They hold a big grudge.

Seems like every game is on Friday this season. Didn't they usually play on Saturdays before?

friday night is prime time

apparently reward for playing an exciting brand of footy

i prefer the saturday lunch time, especially in the depth of winter. Makes going to games more comfortable

guessing you never wrote the letter about starting games well

Hey knuckles.

Keith, glad you're on the mend. Take it easy, always orders

22, has been raining here plenty too. Sorry we shared too much. Might end up floating away at this rate. Perhaps I'll pack a cooler and a snorkel, and find someone with an inner tube willing to share.

Poor dogman

Hawkie, tell those wood cutting bosses you want a raise. Or I'll call the bad banana gods and the rain gods. They won't know what hit em

Just another gray cloudy day here. Hoping the rain holds off so we can take the monsters to a drive in movie. Hope they'll be distracted so we can neck at the movie (haha yeah right)

Smooches y'all!
