@SteveS45 see you are doing exactly what the industry is doing
using the same term for everything
the gragas is pretty unique
it has a tank on top. the wicks are not self wicking you have to pump juice from the top to the cotton. Like I said maybe there was one like that a year ago, but its completely unique and different then the rest of the market
the combo you post is what I described as the common definition used by most manufacturers today of what an RDTA is. deck on top tank unde rit wicks go into tank - it is based of the original genisis atomizer form years ago
Where as what the manufactures today are calling Genisis Tank Atomizers which are basically RTAs with the deck raised above the bott9om of the tank but still within the tank presumably for a wicking advantage
The Aromamizer I believe may have been the first RDTA. but most people refer to it as an RTA since afte rits release the term RDTA was used to describe tanks like the combo. Possibly Steam crave wasnt trying to make RDTA stand for Rebuildable Dripping Tank Atomizer and were just trying to combine the two terms RDA and RTA since they state it is built and wicked like an RDA but has a tank like an RTA
The Smok TF-RDTA is basically their version or copy of the aromamizer with some minor differences.
Regardless the GRAGAS is not the same as any of the other things mentioned it is unique and takes another spin on the term RDTA
The terms RDTA and GTA are so over used and applied to many different things its getting ridiculous to really know what RDTA and GTA mean any more since every company is just defining the terms themselves and we dont have an industry standard as of yet
Although Ijoy is really pushing their version of an RDTA with coils on top tank on bottom and you can use it exactly like an RDA if you choose.
I personally think their version of an RDTA should be the common accpeted meaning of it.
I think GTA needs to be changed to something else as to not confuse it with a genisis tank
and thinks like things like the aromoamizer and smok tf-rdta should be renamed as RTDAs to differentiate the two styles of RTAs
While that Gragas needs a totally different term maybe something like Inverted Self Contained Squonk Atty
