Non-specific MT3 - Which coils and where to get them?

So I have a buddy who is getting a simple ego twist kit (stepping up from cigalikes). He already ordered it, and while I'm suggesting better clearos for him to look into getting, he's going to have three MT3 tanks coming with the kit. I'm not sure if these are the old ones or the MT3s style, since I've never used them myself. I'm having a hard time figuring out what heads they use, but I want to get him a few to swap in when those go bad assuming he hasn't upgraded to a better clearomizer by then!

Which coils (I think they must use Kangers of some kind) are these?

I was about to say those look like the older short posts, but you already found that out, have any luck finding any of those coils yet? I still have my evod pen style stick battery and use it on occassion when I in my wonderful forgetfulness forget to charge batteries, I need it, and I use a couple of inexpensive aspire tanks I use the Aspire CE5 looking tank they are pretty inexpensive, as well as I use the aspire bvc et-s tank also inexpensive and nice tanks.

Ya know, I'm not entirely sure. I've only used the PT1 clones, iClear 30 & 16B, Aspire BVC, and the Aerotank v2 out of the plethora of clearos in the last year or so. ;)

I know that page has MT3/T3 adapters though:

MT3 to MT3S Conversion Base
T3 to T3S Conversion Base

As far as the old EVOD coils go, I used them in my v1 Protank clone until they got rid of them. Perhaps this chart at DV shows a replacement?

Thanks for the replies! I'm still confused, because none of this is adding up.

The old style MT3 had coils that were completely a part of the base hardware. Didn't unscrew, it was all one piece, and you had to get an entirely new base with coil when changing heads. The MT3 pictured where he ordered the kit (at http://vprocity.com/collections/accessories/products/mt3-tank?variant=734802387) has a coil removed from the base hardware, which is impossible if it is the old style MT3 - or at least, as far as I can tell by documentation on the old style MT3. That is why NEW base hardware was made for the MT3S and T3S. The difference here is that the coils pictured have very short posts compared to the newest MT3s type coils.

I did ask customer support what type of coils and where to get them, but the answer was not helpful.
Q:
What atomizer coils do your MT3 tanks take, and can you suggest anywhere to get them from? Thank you.
Customer Care:
You could search replacement coil for MT3 and it may be better to buy it on ebay. We are going to order these part ii future, which could save your valuable time. Sorry for the little trouble and we are always trying to improve the service

Any other ideas?

EDIT: After searching ebay I did find coils that look like these. They are (obviously) clone heads and not genuine Kangers, but the MT3 tanks from vpro are also obviously not genuine Kangers. I wonder how much difference the post length makes - would real MT3s/T3s heads fit? More than likely they would perform better. Hmm.
