Hey I really appreciate that my friend. We had been separated for a month last July and worked that out or so it seemed. The issues there was my nagging her son and me not being as affectionate as she wanted. Both of those issues were resolved or so I thought and she seemed to think so until Monday morning.

Are you still nagging her son? Quite often (I have seen it in a few other people), the son will always win out over the husband. If she perceives him to be most important, you cannot win that battle. Affectionate? More hugs? More kisses? Holding hands in public? Some women need to be seen (by other women) to have a man who adores her.

Nope, I've solved both of those problems. He and I have spoken on the phone several times and I've been nothing if not praising and supportive. As for her she knew for sure that she was loved, many hugs, kisses and hand holding.
Then there is something else she wants that has not been communicated to you -- or, if she perceives it has been, you have not recognized it as having the same importance she gives it. Hmmmm.... thinking back to past discussions... can this have something to do with you being retired now? Are you just around and underfoot too much? Grasping at straws here, but sometimes it is the straw that breaks the camel's back. You have to analyze all possibilities if she is not telling you what is wrong.

She has already moved back to her home state of Ohio. She didn't like it here in IL and the plan was for me to take care of things here and then go there with her which was proceeding as planned until she got upset Monday a.m. I think maybe she feels I'm not being honest and keeping up my end of the bargain as she perceives it should be.

That's for letting me bend your ear my friend. I think it may be time to lay down and try to get some sleep.

Are you being honest? Do you actually know what she perceived the bargain to be? If so, did you even really want to comply? Is it possible you want to stay in Illinois rather than moving to Ohio and said or implied such? Then she just got pissed off at whatever she thinks you are thinking...

Well, sleep on it, Craig. I hope you wake up with an answer, or at least a clue. Catch ya later...

And goodnight to the rest of you. (who's left? Jimi and Eric?) One of you can turn out the lights...

Another hot day of removing debris.
Let's see... it is May 10th, and I think winter has returned. Overcast all day, heavy rains this morning, light rain this afternoon, 39 degrees and north wind at about 20 mph -- that equals a wind chill (feels like) of 29 degrees! I wore my heavy winter coat for routine chores, but got absolutely nothing else done today.
