Vaped a lot...had a run of people trying to badmouth me about vaping while in the parking lot at work with the same types of insults as “That’s gay” followed...luckily enough I had a bottle of nic and was able to spike my tank juice up a bit to keep me calmed rather than reenacting parts from “Human Centipede” with them
Also spun out some coils to throw in a grab bag that I’ll be sending someone as a thanks...nothing drastic

Just some parallel coils along with some twisted coils and along with some Zippers and your basic 26/36 Claptons and 6-wrap aliens that are contact with 5 wrap aliens spread (non-contact)

I've been wanting try DIY e-liquids for a while, but I'm always on the fence about it. I'm afraid I'll buy everything, and not be happy with the finished product. I see people saying it's better than bought e-liquid, but for some reason my mind is telling me it won't taste as good as "premium". I haven't tried a DIY e-liquid, but have always wondered if the commercial brands use higher quality ingredients than what's available for the public to buy. I wish one of you lived near me so I could finally try a DIY e-liquid and see for myself!

I ran out of juice in Hayward WI a while back.
Went in to a Vape Shop (Northwoods Vape if I remember right) and the guy made me a bottle of his Strawberry Shortcake.
Tasted excellent right away and only got better in a few days.
Basically that's DIY and it tasted just as good as any premium I ever purchased.

Picked up a bottle of Ultra Chrome Lemon Poppyseed Classic 3mg/l (by Adrenochrome labs, lol) for the fog machines, and a bottle of E-Apothecary Nectar D'or 4.0% salt juice for the mini setups.

Tasty tasty tasty, but I must start doing my homework and find some good recipes so I can get back to DIY.

Bought a very inexpensive Kayfun 4S clone off eBay last week and it arrived a few days ago. I knew it was an odd bird when I opened it up and it had a screw-in RBA instead of a regular deck. Boxed it back up and put it in my vape box.

Decided to pull it out today and see if anything could be done with it. Well, it already had a coil in it, so I threw some cotton in it, soaked it with juice, put everything together, and filled it about halfway with juice. Mistake.

All of that juice ended up leaking out of the airflow holes, onto me and the handsful of tissues I grabbed. So got to looking to see what I did wrong.

Well the K4 is supposed to have juice control, which I didn't realize, so I worked and worked and worked trying to get the tank to turn so that it would shut the juice control off. After doing everything I could think of and looking at videos and product descriptions and the like, I've decided that this particular clone does NOT have juice control. It is a freak, I'm telling ya.

But....after I got pissed enough to throw the whole thing over on the side table, it dawned on me that I could just fill the damn thing from the bottom and it probably wouldn't leak like a sieve. So I tried that, and it worked like a charm. It vapes great. I don't even care that I have to fill it from the bottom.

Oh, and today's vape mail? A damn empty box covered with clear packing tape, on which the Postal Service had stamped "RECEIVED WITHOUT CONTENTS." My husband handed me the box and I said, that's a damn empty box. So went to the battery seller and he refunded my money, so now I'll try again and see if I can get him to actually ship me a couple of batteries.

Fun times.

I test single flavors by mixing them with PG/VG starting at about 1.5% and working up to 5% or so.
Let them sit for a day or so between percentage increases and vape testings.
Many of them I am sensitive to so I toss or pif them.
The ones I keep I have taken notes on during the test and keep those for reference as to what they actually taste like and what I see and the proper percentage.

Yep notes. now was it the FA or FW butterscotch that I liked best.
Got notes on it. Getting old enough that I need notes on my notes though
such notes as this one tastes like bakery butterscotch or this one tastes of candy butterscotch, etc.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner, I didn't see this post. I have a bunch of 10ML bottles for testing flavors. When I try something new, I go to ELR first. I find the flavors page and see what most people like it at solo. They show an average "percent used in a recipe", an "Average quantity single flavor". It's usually pretty safe to try it that way.

Cleaned and rewicked the Reload RTA.

Also, tried my v1 Goblin Mini with the airflow set to minimum, for a true MTL experience. I had been running it with the afc at little less than 50% using 4.0% salt nic, DL, 29 watts... Roughly exhaling the same cloud as an analog, with good results.

Funny part is, everything the same but afc set to min, so MTL... The clouds are reduced to a whisp, however it seems as if it's even more effective at delivering nicotine when setup this way. Not entirely sure I understand why, but I have a theory or two.

I’ll definitely have to add that to the list since I’m still nesting in my new place. Installed a few floating shelves that are currently holding some juice that’s steeping, a few of my mods I’ve unpacked so far, and most all of my flavors. Thinking of getting up close and personal with the drill press tomorrow to do angled holes in the wood to hold my flavors while still being able to read the label. Not sure if I want to just go with another set of floating shelves to do it with or just paint the wood to match the floating shelves and affixing them to one another. This is it so far

Then there’s my rolling workstation with all of my spools, tools, and DIY basics (PG/VG/Nic)

Trying to decide whether I should use this third oversized ketchup/mustard bottle idea you gave me and pre-mix my PG/VG and Nic so that all I have to do is drop my concentrate into the and rather than having to deal with adding 3 more ingredients, grabbing the pre-made mixed bottle to speed things up and cut down on error...I always go with 80/20 VG/PG and have been going with around an 8 on the nic level...is there a glaring drawback to that idea that I haven’t considered or am I just slow on the uptake and that’s what most DIY’ers do?

Looks great! So much fun getting your space together exactly the way you want it.

I do that with vg/pg/nic. I mix almost daily...on a whim most of the time, so having it pre mixed is a boon. Makes everything super quick. If there’s a down side, I haven’t tripped over it yet!

Damn...I was hoping you were using one I didn’t have already. I’ve got LA-Lemonade and WF-Summertime Lemonade but everything keeps coming out smelling like Pledge cleaner.
As a side note, has anyone had this issue where someone calls your phone and wakes you up, but you think it’s the alarm for some reason and start freaking out that you’re late for work and get dressed as fast as possible and then get in the car and suddenly remember you’re off that day? That feeling really sucks and just happened to me.

So now I get to spin out around 30 Aliens and all the prep work is already done...woohoo! Gotta run up the post office too and send off some vape mail that my lazy ass hasn’t gotten around to doing yet.

Edit: Also, upon unpacking at my new place, I found a couple of coils and 1 or 2 sticks of Alien Wire to straighten out and wrap into proper coils.

I think it might be time to have another giveaway for folks that like these coils and either don’t know how to make them or don’t like taking the time to make them...

I've been running this Freemax Mesh Pro through the gauntlet all day. I want to see if it holds up to all the hype I've seen online. So far, though, it is holding up. Gotta say I'm pleasantly surprised. It hits harder & has better flavor than any other tank I've used.

Received my Cthulhu Hastur mini today! Only had 21ga kanthal or Juggernaut wire laying around, so wrapped up some of the Juggernaut and put a build in. Wire is a bit much for this application, but so far so good.

Also, still refreshing vape mail tracking. C'mon Vapecige, printing a label and actually shipping something are not the same thing! Let's move it already!

Will also probably rewick the Reload. Got a little of the black tooth this morning, lol.

Boy what a day yesterday. I drank a mountain dew while at work. I can't remember the last time I had a pop. Then I crashed HARD. Got home and went straight to bed, which I had no time to do. Pop was a bad decision.

Woke up, rewicked my billet box, realized it sucked, then threw some wick in my gr1. After that i mixed juice for two hours.
Vaped for maybe 30 mins after that and went back to bed.

Now up at 4:30am for work.

I used to drink a lot of it. I think vaping helped me cut out sweets. Now I drink coffee in the morning and then water the rest of the day. Throw in the occasional beer.

I drink the sugar-free versions of what you drink - diet Mtn Dew and unsweetened tea. Right now I'm working on a large unsweet tea from McDonalds, in my RTIC tumbler so it's absolutely ice cold. Love good tea but can't deal with all that sugar!
