I've been working with this recipe for well over a year & this is pretty much where it will end because I like it.
I made the mistake of letting a friend try it & now he won't leave me alone!

@MWorthington - Good luck on the INW Waffle, because I'm thinking it's been discontinued. :tantrum:I'm glad I stocked up on that & the FA Butter as well.

The only other Waffle I have is TFA & I'm not real impressed with it. I'm hoping by posting this someone will recommend a good sub for when I finally run out of the INW.

And see, there it is!
I have enough INW to maybe last me a year, but it's good to know that there's something else out there that's decent. I didn't think too much of TFA's.
Thanks WG!
It’s my favorite one out there. I have a bunch of others and they all seem to be a lot of syrup with a touch of Bakery. The LB is much more balanced. It’s the only one I use now.

FA Metaphor is a must-have for me. I use it a lot.

I've got the cinnamon danish, waffle, and metaphor in the cart. I can't look at any more recipes for a couple of days. I'm already over my limit at BCF. After I get this month's order in, I'll start on next month! :)

How do you think this recipe would taste without INW Waffle?

I'm trying to make a banana pancake recipe. Metaphor is something i hadn't thought about. Thanks for the idea!

I honestly don't know, as I haven't tried it without the Waffle.

@debinnv makes a killer french toast and maple syrup as well. My finances are temporarily lacking. But when I'm back up and rolling I will be purchasing some of flavors to give it a go myself. I do have some flavorings but they are either Totally Wicked gold standards or Lorann. I have made some nice juices with them but I am limited right now.

As of a couple of hours ago, I've got the cinnamon danish swirl, metaphor, and LB Belgian Waffle headed this way to make this with. I'll be subbing FA Maple syrup but I had everything else. I'm sooo looking forward to making this up!

At least you can still get FA Butter.....it’s a PITA, but you can still get it.

So, with the LB sub.....this is a very nice French toast! Eggy, custardy, nice light maple note. Touch of cinnamon and a fried, crispy note. Yum. I might add some strawberries to the next batch. Excellent job, dude!

You're a god among men. This is delicious off a shake and vape. Can't wait to see how it steeps! Subbed TFA Butter & FW waffle, had the rest handy.

Glad your subs worked & really glad you're enjoying this. I'm about to do a 120ml in the next week or so. :D

I will say, I thought the same thing about TFA Frosted Donut . . . until . . . I paired it with some FA Joy and it turned a mediocre flavor into something quite wonderful in conjunction with a little bit of FLV Milk Chocolate. I would love to see a thread on here that gets in depth on how flavors work and build off each other. Like INW Cactus and TFA Strawberry Ripe and talk about what happens when they work together. I did SO much research like that before I started mixing and it helped me to create some gnarly mixes right out of the gate.

My point is that, though you might not like the TFA Waffle, there might be something you can use with it to create what you're looking for. Another example is CAP Vanilla Custard. It isn't very eggy, which is why I really like it, but if I want to boost that eggy side of it I combine it with some FA Meringue and BOOM!

Also where do you get the FA Butter? I accidentally ordered Movie Theater style Butter from CAP or TFA, I can't remember.
FA butter is a pain to find.....I ordered it straight from FA Italy. I think somewhere back in this thread, is another place where you can get it. Chefs had it and doesn’t now. Nomnomz maybe?

I'll check it out. Wizard Labs is my go to just because I started there, they have taken good care of me, get me my shipments within 2 days of placing my order and do free shipping over $50. Bull City doesn't have it. I'll check nomnom and if not i'll just order a 4oz straight from FA Italy. My family is going to Italy at some point this year, maybe I can have them pick some up.

It’s worth every drop. Whatever pains you have to suffer, totally worth it.

Wow it's 4euro for a 10ml bottle on their site. Definitely going to look elsewhere. I mean I'm not sure how far 10ml goes, but it seems steep.

Oh, it is. And shipping is killer. Check out Nomnomz and possibly other UK sites. Somebody’s gotta have it!

But 10ml does go quite a long way. Unless you’re using it in every mix you come up with......:giggle:

This is the closest to french toast I've had. Most come out tasting like waffles or cinnamon rolls.

At 80 Watts, the syrup is a little much for me so I'll probably use this recipe for MTL Vapes.

Great job HH!

Ok back when I first started mixing I entered FA butter in my Flavor stash not knowing the difference between it and TPA:confused: So the two butters I have are Cap golden and TPA butter.... Lightning Vapes used TPA but never said how much and has not posted in some time..... can anyone suggest witch one I should use and how much?
Think we need to get a group buy for FA butter and FA Custard premium together to it stops killing us all on costs;)

Dam it went and ordered all the stuff to make this on Sat. thinking I had FA butter as I had listed in my flavor stash.......

I have not had the FA Butter, but CAP Golden Butter is decent. When I did my SFT on it I was so scared at the idea of vaping straight butter, I was pleasantly surprised. It is very much like a sweet cream butter.

If I was subbing in CAP Golden Butter, I believe I'd use it at 1% for this recipe. The CAPs is really not too bad. I did not care for TFA.
