Thought I read earlier you had to drive to the city today?...or was that yesterday?

If it was today, I understand why your head is bouncing.
Yeah, it was monthly shopping today, but prefaced with a stop at the vet to have three cats fixed. 75 miles of snowy icy road where I barely hit 45-50 mph, so I was a bit late getting to the vet, but dropped off the cats in Belle Fourche, did some shopping there, continued on to Spearfish, then Rapid City, back to Sturgis, then back to Belle Fourche to pick up the cats. Left in the dark and got home in the dark. Trying to load heavy stuff into the truck at Sam's Club, I managed (stupidly) to re-rip the right biceps, so now I can't even lift that arm. Sigh...

80 lbs....DAMN...what did the checkout (person) at wally world ask this time?.....:teehee::giggle::teehee:
Oh they asked several times ago what I was doing with them so I told them, I am the talk of the produce section. But today I went to Peoria to Sams Club and they did have the 5 pound bags for less. You do kinda get a look when you buy 80 pounds so that gives me 16 days worth.

Jimi...what ratio or carrots to other veggies do you use?....like 50% carrot, 50% mixed-others?
well I start out with 4 or 5 pounds of carrots (depends what else you want in it)and 1 whole sweet onion from my garden about a half stalk of celery, hand full of kale or spinach,a quarter head of red cabbage and as much garlic as i can stand makes a half gallon of great tasting juice but you will need to play with your recipes. Sometimes i throw an avacodo then it gets like a milkshake taste

I need to pick some more bitter greens, those damn carrots are like (carrot) flavored sugar water.

We've got both here so I called Sam's and asked if they had and how much 5 pound bags of organic carrots were and they said 3.48. Then called costco and asked the same all costco had in organic was 5 pounds of rainbow carrots ,which would be great if they weren't 5.97 a bag

And now that all three of the babies who got fixed today are trying to sleep in my lap (I suspect they want assurance I was not throwing them away this morning), maybe this really old phart needs to put his owies in bed and snuggle these poor pussies.

Oh yes carrots are sweet, I wish I would of had this juicer when i was getting garden goodies. Have you run any of your sweet taders through it yet they make a healthy juice too and a great addition.

Haven't tried that either....I keep forgetting you can basically put anything in there, and it's gonna taste damn good....!

Yeah beet juice is superfood to knock down some of the sweetness juice about 50/50 beets/beet greens then add other veggies.
