Good Jimi...my younger brother made a surprise visit yesterday, haven't seen him in a few months.Hows Dale tonight?
Yeah, it was monthly shopping today, but prefaced with a stop at the vet to have three cats fixed. 75 miles of snowy icy road where I barely hit 45-50 mph, so I was a bit late getting to the vet, but dropped off the cats in Belle Fourche, did some shopping there, continued on to Spearfish, then Rapid City, back to Sturgis, then back to Belle Fourche to pick up the cats. Left in the dark and got home in the dark. Trying to load heavy stuff into the truck at Sam's Club, I managed (stupidly) to re-rip the right biceps, so now I can't even lift that arm. Sigh...Thought I read earlier you had to drive to the city today?...or was that yesterday?
If it was today, I understand why your head is bouncing.
Supposed to be about 30 tonight.....hell, there was ice on a roof in the morning a couple days ago.... it's been chilly at night a few days now. It's 23 here right now , kinda chilly
Damn....what a day. I wouldn't suggest buying Lotto Tickets.....Yeah, it was monthly shopping today, but prefaced with a stop at the vet to have three cats fixed. 80 lbs....DAMN...what did the checkout (person) at wally world ask this time?.....I sure am Dale picked up 80 pounds of carrots this morning I am going for 120 days.

Yeah!!! A great combo there and maybe some fresh ginger if you can find it organic.Had a huge bag of Curcumin delivered today, can't wait to add some of that to the juice....also got some lemongrass from an asian market to grind.
Jimi...what ratio or carrots to other veggies do you use?....like 50% carrot, 50% mixed-others?I sure am Dale picked up 80 pounds of carrots this morning I am going for 120 days.
I have fresh ginger, I didn't think of that.....now that does sound even better....!Yeah!!! A great combo there and maybe some fresh ginger if you can find it organic.
Toss in a couple fresh lemons off the tree too....!I have fresh ginger, I didn't think of that.....now that does sound even better....!
Oh they asked several times ago what I was doing with them so I told them, I am the talk of the produce section. But today I went to Peoria to Sams Club and they did have the 5 pound bags for less. You do kinda get a look when you buy 80 pounds so that gives me 16 days worth.80 lbs....DAMN...what did the checkout (person) at wally world ask this time?.....![]()
The Sam's Club closed by me, although there is a Costco I'm a member of, but haven't been there...damn place is like a madhouse 24/7Oh they asked several times ago what I was doing with them so I told them, I am the talk of the produce section. She seems to be responding very well to the meds and the new diet Lannie created for her. Lannie says that today, Zipper started acting like she did several years ago, which is a miracle if that continues.Rich, how is your dog doing?.....Better we hope?
well I start out with 4 or 5 pounds of carrots (depends what else you want in it)and 1 whole sweet onion from my garden about a half stalk of celery, hand full of kale or spinach,a quarter head of red cabbage and as much garlic as i can stand makes a half gallon of great tasting juice but you will need to play with your recipes. Sometimes i throw an avacodo then it gets like a milkshake tasteJimi...what ratio or carrots to other veggies do you use?....like 50% carrot, 50% mixed-others?

That's good news......I figured if anyone could do it, Lannie would be at the rescue...!She seems to be responding very well to the meds and the new diet Lannie created for her. Lannie says that today, Zipper started acting like she did several years ago, which is a miracle if that continues.
I need to pick some more bitter greens, those damn carrots are like (carrot) flavored sugar water.well I start out with 4 or 5 pounds of carrots (depends what else you want in it)and 1 whole sweet onion from my garden about a half stalk of celery, hand full of kale or spinach,a quarter head of red cabbage and as much garlic as i can stand makes a half gallon of great tasting juice but you will need to play with your recipes. We've got both here so I called Sam's and asked if they had and how much 5 pound bags of organic carrots were and they said 3.48. Then called costco and asked the same all costco had in organic was 5 pounds of rainbow carrots ,which would be great if they weren't 5.97 a bagThe Sam's Club closed by me, although there is a Costco I'm a member of, but haven't been there...damn place is like a madhouse 24/7

Have a great Saturday, Rich...!And now that all three of the babies who got fixed today are trying to sleep in my lap (I suspect they want assurance I was not throwing them away this morning), maybe this really old phart needs to put his owies in bed and snuggle these poor pussies.
Oh yes carrots are sweet, I wish I would of had this juicer when i was getting garden goodies. Have you run any of your sweet taders through it yet they make a healthy juice too and a great addition.I need to pick some more bitter greens, those damn carrots are like (carrot) flavored sugar water.
Haven't tried that either....I keep forgetting you can basically put anything in there, and it's gonna taste damn good....!Oh yes carrots are sweet, I wish I would of had this juicer when i was getting garden goodies. Yeah beet juice is superfood to knock down some of the sweetness juice about 50/50 beets/beet greens then add other veggies.I have a bunch of beets I need to juice....I really don't like beets, but with all the other ingred, doubt I'll even taste um....supposed to be a superfood in the juice dept.....although I'm trying to stay on the bitter side of the juicing equation.
Didn't know that either, Jimi......when you say at times, your studying, I assume now you really mean it......There's more nutrients in the beet greens than in the beets
Haven't thought of that either....I have a huge aloe vera plant in the yard. Are you using any Aloa Vera in yours? You could probably grow it there, it does wonders for inflamation I've got 5 plants going now and cuttings for 10 more
