Please explain this snow thing for us South Texans.

Last time I was in San Antonio, it snowed. That was January 1968 and the snow came with a tornado.
Anyway, Don, I live in the Frozen Northlands of the Great Plains and we get white shit falling from the sky all winter. The wet stuff waits until Spring, Summer, Fall.

Western South Dakota, about 90 miles from the eastern-most Montana line. If you want to visit Mt. Rushmore, come in June, when it is warm but not over 100 and rife with severe thunderstorms like July/August. But if you are a biker, August is the month for the world's biggest motorcycle rally in Sturgis (about 75 miles from my place).

I also have lived in Oregon, Texas, Illinois, England, Italy, Arizona, Montana and have driven through 30 of our states, so you will often hear me BS about them as if it was only yesterday... the older you get, the fresher the old memories and yesterday mysteriously disappears.

Yeah...There was a couple (met them through scouts) with whom our family was very close. They lived behind us. Every weekend our families hung out together. We went on trips together and one day the husband (who was a former cop injured on duty) decided to tell his wife of 20 years that he was trans. He really though she would just accept it and continue to live that way. She kicked him to the curb and he then cut all ties to his past including his two boys who were teens. It's just messed up. Screwed the older boy up bad.

Same here try to bring their city attitudes to the country.
Start bitchin because your place is not kept up to their standards, etc.
And rural city humans are the same when they move to the country, Not just big city ones.

Currently sucking on the very first mod I ever acquired, an Eleaf iStick 30W with a 3 mL Kanger Protank. It is 3 1/2 years old and I hope it keeps on keepin' on because it is my favorite.
