had a drag mod that the down button would stick but now can't even be pushed in its completely frozen. I think this is from ejuice. still usable because it has the autoset feature

Fun shit i replied to both vandyvape and fasttech about my leak complain 1 week ago and both replied that they need video evidence today about half an hour after eachother

Vandyvape writes on their website they dont take warranty from fasttech purchase and they ask for recipe.

Fasttech ask for video evidence to send for manufactor.

Dont get that because vandyvape dont even spårige fasttech to sell their stuff, kinda wierd.

I’ve made a video lets ser if they refound me or send a new one... anyone had good experience from this kinda problem with fasttech?

Lol vandyvape just replied to my email. Almost 3 months later. Gee thanks.

I had plenty of pictures attached to the email I sent them and they still asked for pictures SMH.

I'm trying to understand this leaking over time thing.

Are the o-rings degrading or becoming malformed or something? There's no way that stainless steel can change in a matter of weeks by being exposed to ejuice in order to account for this.

If it isn't leaking when somebody gets it, why would it start later? With any atomizer for that matter. It has to be something in the soft parts.

The directional air flow inside the deck is a soft part.

Does anybody know what it's made of?

But taking a look at VV,s cross section, I don't see how juice could get from the tank to the airflow without going through the wells. In other words, the same way every other rta leaks. The red oval seems to be the only area where it would be possible if it were, but there's no path through there. Not one loose enough to explain anything more than an almost nonexistent dribble. Unless I'm really missing something, which is possible of course. This assumes the accuracy of that drawing too though.

I'm driving myself crazy with trying to find where it's coming from, I'm 99.9% sure it's not through the air flow as it's always dry it there if I put paper towel in there after a big pool of juice over my mod I think that slight gap around the bottom of the af before the 510 could be the problem but how would it get through there and not pool inside the af as thats directly above it (confused) :gaah:

My leak was not coming out of the airflow but out of the base. So maybe it seeped down the middle along the inside ledge of the curved airflow insert.
idk...

Edit: Would make sense especially because my airflow insert was not aligned correctly. It actually blocked part of the hole in the air flow ring. I posted pics of this early in the thread.

Mine is defo through the base as took the tank off earlier plugged the af holes with tissue as tight as possible and dried the base and then blew through it and around the ring on the base could feel air and then juice started seeping through it and when i took the tissue out of af it was dry

The [plastic or whatever non metal] material they used for the insert could also be heat sensitive, the reason why some don't leak for a week or longer then start. idk . Their designs can look good, but they cheap out on manufacturing.

Yh must be, mine was fine for few months and brought my partner 1 a couple of weeks after mine and hers started leaking yesterday aswell, will never purchase a vv product again. I no off topic but any recommendations to a decent rta that's not gunna ruin another mod due to leaking

I got the dead rabbit rta today and I'm enjoying it so far. Nice dense, moist vape at 75watts. Although if I go higher than that, the whole tank gets really hot because the air doesn't directly hit the coils.

My favorite tank of all time is still the aromamizer plus.

Some version of this might be it.

I stuck the end of a piece of coil wire in the airflow on the bottom outside and with some effort was able to scratch it. I'm pretty sure it's delrin. It feels and scratches just like a delrin drip tip and is also black. I put a flashlight down the chimney so I could see clearly.

I refuse to die before somebody tries that Lotus and tells me how right I was :D
You came real close last night, lol. I had a window open looking at vape sites for deals on a Lotus. Sigh, then I found a deal for a new black aromamizer supreme v2.1 that I just couldnt pass up. Still want to give the Lotus a try at some point.

I'm debating on a Lotus, but also the True mtl rta. That looks like an amazing tank. I like the clamp system deck on it.

Well, I wasn't planning on dying, but I suppose if I were, you may have hastened the event .
I hope not, lol.

Anything about the Lotus I should know? Looks pretty simple and straight forward as far as coil mounting and wicking

I sure do hope that my Kylin V2 doesn't succumb to the leaking thing, because this is one great RTA. It and the lotus are definitely neck-and-neck as far as the quality of the vapor they deliver.

I'm sure it has nothing to do with me, but I got mine on Feb. 1st and it hasn't leaked at all so far.

I'm putting my Kylin v 2 back in it's box, the one drop per tank leak has gotten worse. I wish someone knew how to fix it because it's a great flavor tank.

1 drop !? lol, my Bellerophone leaks like 10 drops a day. well, it used to. now I have it down to about 3 drops.
and I use it 25 hours a week.

have you tried a Reload ? the decks look kinda sorta the same.
Above my spending threshold.
If there is such a thing as a better vape from an RTA than the Lotus (Maybe there is) I honestly don't need it. That is the closest to perfect at it's intended purpose, piece of vaping gear I own and I paid 20 and 18 for the last 2 I bought.
I'm just being honest.

the dawg rta deck is similar as well.

Waiting for my tax return and I'm going to order a reload rta from their site. Been wanting to scratch that itch for a long while now.
I have the kindbright clone and it's the only tank I've used in the last 2 weeks

Nothing wrong with clones, IMHO. I dont mind spending the money for the reload since the quality of the machining and flavor are very good. If I like it I'll buy a second one for a backup.

I didn't know you were referring to a clone.
oh. I'm not trying to disagree with you, at all. just wondering if you had tried a Reload.
Oh no, I didn't take you that way at all, but I am nobody you should fear disagreeing with either

My only experience with clones is that pair of Panzers I got from a guy a on Craigslist they are REALLY good. In fact, I've found a consensus online that says that both of the ones I have were better than the authentic.

That said, I just cannot get myself to actually get into clones. I'm not even sure I can put my finger on exactly why yet.

Same here. Mine shipped February 27th and its still on the boat.
I will be very interested in your impression.
I just hit that setup I showed the other night with my VK530/SS Lotus and I just can barely imagine that pair ever being out of my rotation. SO trouble free and fabulous.
