Sure you can, for what it's worth. Probably more of a negative impact on you than on Customs, though. At least that's what my friends tell me when I get upset at something like this. Hard not to, especially lately.

Sho true, anger is a a double-edged sword right, although for me it's more like a Lightsaber that I have no idea how to wield without seriously injuring myself before whoever I'm mad at even notices I'm mad

My last package went in and out of my state twice last week lol, it had a TRIP

My sis said to me one day, you know, you don't have to wait until you're LIVID before you express an opinion about something. It was so true, I nearly fell over. Not her usual type of communication. :teehee:

A Walmart Black Friday deal I bought that was $94 off retail was to be delivered today.

I knew it wasn’t going to be for I was watching my account and the item never shipped.

This item was to be one of three gifts for the wife for Xmas, we only do 3...item we want, item we need and a free for all whatever we think the other would like.

Anyway I chatted with Walmart and they basically told me to get fucked and could not do anything to honor their Black Friday deal.

So I was refunded, which will take up to 14 days and have to find a replacement for the, “item she wanted gift”

I should of just bought it in store rather than thinking of bypassing the insane amount of people when I ordered it online.

Live and learn, but yeah lil pissed.

Wasn’t even an overly expensive item...

Apple Watch 3 for $129, now its $199(232 after tax)

Yep I have had to threaten to quit to get a reduced plan price on things...
And I have actually quit some things when they would not give it to me.

Oh surely you'll be able to find a good deal on one of those before Christmas?

Ordering stuff like that online from Wal-Mart is a gamble. I bought new mattresses for my two grandsons that way. My son ended up running up and down the road to three different Wal-Marts fifty miles apart trying to get two mattresses. Took him almost all day.

Yeah, I got pissed off just thinking about Walmart.com. Every order I've made there got fucked up in some way. That time I returned an item and got charged for it again, that was great. 3-5 business day refund to cards. Come on, fuck walmart.com yeah. I had to go between Paypal and Walmart for that one, both sides saying "you gotta talk to THEM about that"

I’m just a little bummed and yes I’ll just go to Verizon tomorrow and get one...just might end up buying the new iPhone for myself... my older iPhone 6s is feeling it’s age (on my second battery)

Maybe Verizon has a combo deal for an Apple Watch and iPhone 11... she can open up the watch and I’ll wrap the phone up for myself and be like... “woah what’s that one” she’ll go over to it and it will say “To Don from Ma.Jeremiah)

“Who’s Ma.Jeremiah?”

Don’t you remember, when we went to the Philippines she was that...

What really gets me started is how my son will come to visit for a few days and turn on every light in the house without turning a single one off when he is finished. So sick of him not understanding how much electricity costs.... I swear I am gonna buy new switch plate covers like these....

I might try that but I'm worried no one will notice I spent the day in bed  and I'll end up even more pissed!

You've reminded me of a Mother's Day (Sunday, obviously) back in the 90s, when I had waited for weeks for someone to mow the grass, I was pissed about it, and the yard looked like bums lived there. 6:30 a.m. on Mother's Day, I am out there mowing the damn grass, everyone else in my family still snoozing away, oblivious to Mom outside about to blow a fucking gasket. I made sure that was not a happy day for anybody. By the end of the day, they wished they'd mowed the grass. I was a right asshole.

Don't think I've ever been so mad in my life.

Telemarketers waking me up at 9AM to sell me extended car warranties that I don't need and already have.... Do they really think waking people up in the morning is a good way to make a sales call? Unreal... This is what I got to say for that BS....

12/11, Day One...UPS drops a package off on my porch that isn't mine, belongs to a former resident of our new house. I call UPS for a pickup, am assured a driver will come get it from the porch by 7pm.
12/12, Day Two...package is still on my porch. I call UPS again for pickup and explain that it does not belong to me but a former resident. I am assured the package was delivered to the correct address since it IS the address on the label. Yeah, yeah, yeah, but it ain't mine. I do however see it as mine...on someone else's porch...and I'd like to think someone would have the courtesy to call and have it picked up. Might be important, might be a Christmas gift. Might be someone's job to come and get it. I am assured the driver will come get it TODAY...
12/13, Day 3...Package is still here. Good news: I obviously don't have porch pirates. Bad news: UPS sucks. I realize it is ultimately the addressee's fault for not changing their address with Amazon, but after two phone calls and a promise of pickup, I'm still holding it and it still needs to go to its rightful owner. Today I am emailing Amazon about the situation to see if maybe they can contact the package owner.
Now to worry about the television we purchased for my brother's family, which FedEx is supposed to deliver to his home, 300 miles from here, by tomorrow. Hopefully it arrives in better shape than this poor misshapen box on my porch...

*** An update with an FYI: I called Amazon yesterday with regards to said package and was informed that they do not accept return packages in this situation. They wait for the customer to complain and then either reship or refund their account. The package is mine to "keep or donate," as the rep on the phone told me. So I got a freebie from Amazon. Is it something cool? Something useful? Bling? A tasty morsel?
It's door hinges. I have for my efforts two small boxes of door hinges for a set of swinging doors. *sigh* :slowclap:

While looking for more memes and funny images and all I see are hundreds of selfies..... Really? You're not that cute people... Finally I find one selfie worth keeping.... Thank you little one.....

N9Wz44s.jpg

Selfie-taking has apparently turned sticking-out-your-tongue into an accomplishment worth documenting for posterity.

At least this woman kept her mouth (mostly) shut. Now if she'd just cover up the hooters. :p

Last two purchases I've made here haven't been track able. The last one said waiting to receive package at the po and it shows up here. If it's priority scan that shit. Jeezus. Can't be that hard

It did not last long.
Just read about our outgoing governor pardoning a convicted murderer whose family had had a fundraiser to pay of his campaign debt that he had loaned his campaign. essentially money straight in the governors pocket. they guy served 2 years of a 26 yr sentence.
He also pardoned 4 other convicted murders and at least one child rapist.
One of the murders beheaded his victim and put them in a barrel....

I'd talk to Paypal about that first order, if you used Paypal. They only allow so much time for you to file a claim of non-receipt.

Looks to me like that package got loose on a dock somewhere.
Weird part, sometimes stuff just shows up, even though tracking doesn't change. I'll look into that, though. I'd still like to have them. It's just o-rings, but finding those for a Zeus isn't simple, really, with those weird shaped ones.

Those mother fuckers lol

Well after harping Walmart-Help on Twitter for the past few days, they will honor the Black Friday pricing on the Apple 3 watch that was for $129... only mother fuck part is... I went to Apple online and bought the wife an Apple 5 watch and it was delivered in 2 hours... and its already wrapped under our little trees we set up each year. (We both have 18" tall trees, and 3 gift limits, in which the gifts can't be larger than said tree)

Thanks a lot Walmart, fuck me twice... not only did you force me to buy the watch elsewhere, but spend $410 more LOL

Thats ok though, it was meant to be and yeah, I can take it back and they can credit my apple card... but I am lazy and... well lazy to drive 3 miles to return it

So sorry to hear about how Walmart did you..... I realize you're upset and rightfully so, but your rant reminds me a lot of the rant between Chris Rock and Joe Pesci over cell phones.... I am almost in tears re-watching it and laughing.... Hope this somewhat cheers you up after watching.....

Thanks...

I am good, just WallyMart being well WallyMart.

It took days for them to acknowledge me on Twitter, and only after posting 3 days in a row, "Was your response for Optics? You have gone silent" Then the next day, "Yup, these must be canned Optics responses" then the next two days, "Bueller? Bueller?" LOL and today, "Yep I'm convinced your response was for Optics only" and immediately after they were all wanting to make things right.

I don't trust them anymore anyway, if I bought it as they said to do, they then adjust the charge accordingly all done via twitter.

I already have a better one sitting here, and although much more expensive, the whole 1 in the hand... and it was the last of the 3 items to get the wife so I am done.

I do appreciate them acknowledging they were at fault and I can let it be, but man, that was $410 worth of vape stuff for me LOL

Yeah I can understand being salty.... Even though they now offer to make it right, after days of no response you looked elsewhere and now have no need for such. Some places just don't have good customer service and it is a shame. If not for their low prices on select items I would boycott them myself.... I can't stand being there at 9pm with over 400 people shopping, over 40 employees stocking shelves, and 2 lines open other than self checkout. Way to handle the people with cart loads of stuff.... I feel for you man....

BTW I was not making light of your situation.... Just was reminded of a funny part of a movie and thought it would make you laugh for a moment. Sometimes that is all you need... Well until you find something else you would like and notice the wallet a little smaller than it was....

Set my alarm to get up early to take wife to Sunday School and Church.
Dragged myself out of bed and got ready, fed cats, etc.
wife never got up to go...
Not setting my alarm next Sunday.
Since I do not want to go to church anyway, being a heathen and all ;)
the last 2 Sundays she did get up in time for Church but not Sunday school.

There's 3 technical directors for the company producing the show I'm working. They rotate which of them is there. one of them is a micromanager who doesn't really know shit about the business. Sadly he's the lead tech director. He's arrogant as all hell. When he's there he slows down our intermission scene changes. We are professionals and the best at what we do. This dick just screws us up. The others let us do out job.
