Type of vape

Throughout the history of the development of electronic cigarettes, there have been several categories of products, which are described in detail here:

1. Cigar electronic cigarette: It should be said that the originator of electronic cigarette is just like cigar, which was invented in the beginning.

2. Pipe electronic cigarette: electronic cigarette shaped like a pipe;

3. Flat-mouthed electronic cigarette: the cigarette holder is plastic flat-mouthed;

4. Mini-electronic cigarettes: more like the size of cigarettes;

5. Ladies'electronic cigarettes: They are very thin in diameter and resemble ladies' cigarettes.

6. Carmizer electronic cigarette (high-quality electronic cigarette): the atomizer and the smoke bomb are integrated together, it is not easy to leak liquid, and the amount of smoke is larger;

7. Electronic cigarette with soft cigarette holder: cigarette holder resembles cigarette holder;

8. Disposable electronic cigarette: the smoke pole of electronic cigarette can not be charged;

9. Disposable cigar electronic cigarette: shaped like a cigar, but the cigar pole can not be charged;

10. EGO electronic cigarette: larger shape;

11. VGO electronic cigarette: cartmizer shape larger EGO;

12. MEG smoke: Compared with other types of electronic smoke, MEG smoke has no circuit board. It relies entirely on mechanical principle to transport current to the atomizer end. Its battery capacity is generally large and can be replaced at the same time.

13. High-power electronic cigarette: It can adjust the number of electronic cigarette watts and bring pleasure of large amount of smoke. At present, electronic cigarettes are the most popular in the market.

Chinglish at its finest.

That explains why I got so confused. I'm lucky to speak Anguish (American English) natively. I have some little ability at a bunch of other languages but do not consider myself truly fluent in them. Yes I listed a bunch and deleted them.

I don't feel right saying what all I might just have "baby" skills in speaking, then have someone ask me something in one and me having to go look up what was said. Don't feel keen to be dishonest nor either admit too much ignorance of other languages. That means I'm a fair to middlin' American speaking mostly in my native American English.

No, I don't travel, or if I do, I forget it. I've just worked around many walks of life and had to learn enough to get by at the work and get by to avoid trouble, or not make it.

Chinglish? Nope, don't speak a word of it xiu xiu. Only barely enough Mandarin Chinese to thank our servers at our local Chinese restaurant.

I always try to tell people if it's smoking then they are doing it wrong.

WTF is MEG smoke?
I guess they mean Mech.
Whatever app that was used to translate this must be junk.

Kind of what I had thought but didn't want to seem rude in asking. They do not seem be considering open type systems. That leaves out a huge share of the market, and people using them.

Types of vape: "Got wet wick?" "Yep." "Good vape." "What if I had a dry wick?" "Shitty vape." "Are there other types?" "Halfway wet wick?" "Yeah." "Mediocre vape." "Anything else?" *blank stare*

Ummmm I hate to be “that guy” but I don’t see the ladies electronic cigarette or the flat mouthed electronic cigarette. These two types are very important because there is a ton of lady vapers and the flat mouthed type is such a rare type. I always thought the flat mouthed type was just a flat mouthed drip tip but apparently I was wrong. So in conclusion, nice try but you’ve come up short, can’t forget the ladies bro, you may end up with a #metoo hashtag because they too vape.

Is there something called a carmizer?? lol

I think that one involves a garden hose, duct tape, a car in a closed garage. The idea is to tape the hose to the car exhaust, get in the car and pull the other end of the hose into the car window. Start the car, you will know when you "get your vape on"! It will likely be after some poor sod pulls you out of the garage on a gurney.

After all it is the Internet, you read it, it has to be true and if you read it from some asshole like me you need to follow instructions. Do not engage your own common sense. Remember, our lovely POTUS wants to stop hurricanes with nuclear weapons. There ya are, then! ;) *shaking my head*

Hey, I want my carmizer vape to be flavored- while we can still get them! And yep, internet truth is astounding...time is fleeting. Stay well, unconventional conventioneer. :teehee:

Uh....just who is the intended audience? I don't think those people hang out here, at least I haven't seen 'em.

Maybe OP and OP-hanger-on should try Reddit?

I love it when folks show up out of nowhere, gonna teach us all about it.

Insert various profanity here. Use yer imagination. Chinglish or Anguish or Germish, don't matter to me.

They put these up here for a reason. If it had links I would know why but it doesn't, so this is just dumb. With all of the technology and business secrets that they steal, you would think they could be bothered to pick up a working translator tool at some point.

It is all "doing for the lowest cost", and that also means lowest cost to invest in spending ten minutes doing some basic research, never mind the translation. Sometimes spades are spades too, belay my mental chatter. Sorry, old habits for old dogs. :)

I’m sorry, but a “ladies’ e-cigarette” sounds totally suspect, anyway. Do real ladies vape differently from guys? Or do they want those OG gas station ones that look like plastic cigs and light up at the end? You’d have to be really dedicated to quit with those!!

A lot of us did quit smoking with those cigalikes that light up on the end, because that's what was available at the time. You want to vape something nasty? Try a menthol Blu. Yikes.

By and large, I think most women would rather not have skulls on their vape gear. But I speak for myself only, as always. I also want gear that doesn't look like a Star Wars toy. I do NOT want that damned monstrosity that Kanger has recently released that looks like a lipstick. That's about the stupidest thing I've ever seen. And I don't want any butterflies, please god, no butterflies.

I don’t buy big mods either, since they’re heavy and big! Patterns are a matters of personal taste, though. I’ve seen a lot of guys have purple and rainbow gear, though. A lipstick mod? Ye gods, never. I saw a Hello Kitty bling mod that was cute, though. Lol ;)

No Star Wars toys for me, but I do have 2 3D printed squonks that have very small skulls on them. You really need to look to notice them as they are in a interwoven pattern. Most of my gear is non descript, mostly black, metal (SS or aluminum), copper, or brass.

I started with Blu, they were only good for saving me a trip outside the hotel when it was cold, but they did get me looking at other gear. It's kinda funny when I got my first eGo setups I thought they were huge...:giggle: Now, I prefer mech squonks or 21700 mech tubes, go figure... I do have a few colored mods, blue, green, red, and even a purple.

If others want the blingy stuff that's great. Whatever it takes to keep off the cigs!

Two Main Styles of Vaping Dominating in 2020

There are two main styles of vaping in the year 2020 and these have been
around for a while. Granted I'm writing this article from an American
point of view yet these styles translate the world over. They are simple
to understand styles.

Ask a former cigarette smoker if they toke on vape like a cigarette, or
water bong. If they say they hit vaporizers like cigarettes then more
than likely this is a mouth to lung vaper, or a mouth vaper. The
same as some appear to smoke cigars mouth vapers will hold vapor, or
smoke in their mouths. Not all inhale, not all do not inhale.

If a former smoker says they hit a vape like a water bong, bong, then
you've found a direct to lung vaper. These people do inhale vape and
smoke. Yes, the vape, or smoke pass through their mouths, so does air
and food. The point being a direct lung vaper will inhale the vapor,
little will exit although it may seem large in volume.

Beyond these two styles one delves into the minutia of preferences.
These two basic styles though determine a user's kit. For example a
direct lung person may prefer chuff caps for their drip
tips. These are the 810 mm round drip tips which let a lot of vapor
rush to the user's lungs.

A mouth hitting user will prefer the standard 510 mm around drip tips.
This restricts the flow of vapor into the mouth. They gain a level of
control that lung users do not appreciate, or if they do, they do not
desire it.

I agree with you. When I smoked I didn't smoke cigarettes marketed for ladies. I liked Winstons and Camels.

I currently use box mods and DL tanks, and I recently have switched to RTA's, rather than subohm tanks that use prebuilt coils.

I never thought that smoking or vaping had products for specific genders.

Here's two brands I liked for a while. I was a lady one night due to a lost bet. Dolled up good I did, nice blue dress, fishnets. Had three cops hit on me just like one of the "girls". *shrugs* I still enjoy both teams but no longer care to doll up.

Later on I smoked the "Reds", Marlboro's & "Grays" Marlboro lights. Black Death are expensive to get in the States, had it not been for that they'd have been my regular, unfiltered too like I enjoyed the Lucky Strikes.

I grew up not far from Richmond, VA, A bit of history teaches you that Richmond was at one time Tobacco capitol of the world. And Va, especially Rockingham County where I lived most, was poultry capitol of the world and likely still is so. I helped making both so to some degree. *chuckles* It's little wonder I now fall apart.

Thinking about it, I might doll up for @Carambrda. Not sure he needs a moll though, or would desire one. Probably better to set with him balls to balls men, drink our stout. I can do that as well, especially if he promises we can see a decent pub band or two.

Carmizer electronic cigarette (high-quality electronic cigarette): the atomizer and the smoke bomb are integrated together, it is not easy to leak liquid, and the amount of smoke is larger;

Think Carmizer was meant to be cartomizer.

cartomizer_details.gif

The ones I used would pack the wick material all around the coil head assembly. An assembly was a bit of metal housing, usually aluminum but at times steel. A coil resided in this and one lead was drawn down the side under a silicone or plastic insulator. That lead was your "ground".

The positive lead ran into a center post in the assembly. The wick packed in as it was got saturated with juice. Parts of the wick ran into the assembly via slots cut out in its sides. This then, was wound up in the coil.

Yeah, you could rebuild the coils if you tried and put in fresh wick too. Though it was just as easy to pay $4, or so for a fresh cartomizer "cart/cartridge" and not be hassled with the tiny bits. The wire used I think was 36 gauge or thinner, all in it was more a mess to rebuild them than buy fresh ones.

Later on in the clearomizers they retained the same head assembly. The change being the wick come out of the assemblies into the reservoir of juice users could now see through the "clear" plastic windows on the tanks. They eventually switched to Boron or Pyrex glass for these as people complain of"cracking" tanks. Many juices reacted badly with plastics it seemed.

And that brought us into RDTAs and the new "Sub Ohm" tanks. They all follow the same basic design principle, a coil head assembly. Some allow uise of an assembly that is set up expressely for rebuilding and are called RBAs. When you take the tank away you get RDAs, Rebuildable Dripping Atomizers. The housing is all you get so the manufacture gives you "neat" looking styled "top caps" to cover your coil and "drip tips" to drag off of to vape.

I could easily continue, choose to not though. Think people can see how these items preform their function. Beyond this you get into regulated devices or mechanical ones. These refer to the battery units. I like full mechanical ones or semi-mechanical ones.

I do have one regulated device, mainly because I like how it looks. Someone else can explain using an on board cell phone computer to make vapor, or not. Not that I have much to do, I just don't desire to keep hacking at writing this stuff too long.

Had to love (read loathe) those Njoy what lasted only two hours battery wise and you might get half a cigarette out of juice wise. I miss the automatic draw to fire feature but no way I'm going back to an Njoy or similar.

You just can’t leave @Carambrda alone, can you?

You're a lady. I'm sure you can comprehend the meaning of, "can't be helped, ...". Excuse me. I ought to focus on types of vaping here.

Money Talks, or Does It?

Two other types of vaping you could explore are the high dollar market to the low dollar market. On the high end you've devices, meaning the battery units, or mods as they are often called sold for nearly $1,000 plus. At the low end I've seen mods run $3 to $5 depending on where you buy and shipping costs.

There is no real difference among the two. I have used a $5 mod to out vape one that cost its user $80 plus. Then, I've been out vaped by a decent $30 mod and a $5 RDA. It really does come down to how a user builds their coil, wicks, has all the variables in line. Personally, I refuse paying less than $20 now for a mod as I've learned you buy junk prices you get junk products. Yes, I'm frugal like @The Cromwell but I'm not exactly cheap.

My point to this full series of postings about types of vapes has been to show that only a few types actually exist. Yes, you can rattle off a listing of the various forms of gear, all the different ways people vape, each user's coil preferences, ... ultimately though I can ask roughly two questions and define a very clear image of a a vaper.

Here's those questions, watch close.

Hit a vape like a cigarette or bong?

Keep up with what's trendy?

If they're into trends, fashion they'll go after high dollar gear. If they're more about function than form, you can do alright suggesting a mid range costing mod for them and mid range RDA/RDTA. Matter of fact this is roughly what vape store employees ought to do and do properly. For instance you don't give a total newbie a mechanical mod, some cheap batteries, wire, cotton and an RDA, wishing them luck as you attend to the next "sucker". Do that and your company deserves any lawsuits it faces.

No, instead you ask these basic questions, observe the potential user. Ask if they feel safe with batteries, use of no safety protections. If they don't you want to give them a quick round up of half a dozen regulated devices ranging in price from low to high end. Explain they can create vapor on either high end or low end gear. You want them to afford the gear. But do not push, let the user choose. You repeat this process selling RDAs, RDTAs as well.

These are very much the finer points of what plenty refer to as styles. From my perspective though only two to four basic styles exist. Hope I've illustrated that point well without alienating readers. :)

@Rhianne --- Smart ass! Beguilingly get me to writing again. I see how it is now. I saw you do it and let you, yes, I see how it is for sure. *chuckles*

We're having torrential heat and humidity here. So, this is my explanation of a slight bit of fussiness. It's too hot to move even with a half way air conditioned hovel. Helps matters none it has a metal roof, little insulation and is made of cinder block.

No. High end exclusives are anti-trendy... because they are rare.

Although you have to agree there is a market share of trendy devices that run from $80 US to around $200, which do facilitate being trendy. Everyone goes lush over the newest mod with temperature control for example. Suddenly all the major manufactures offer high priced temperature control mods.

You're thinking of what I consider the nose bleed high end in cost mods. Ones that start at roughly $500 US and can go as high as the sky in cost/s. Yes, I agree those are indeed rare devices and will agree some do warrant the exorbitant prices. Some most definitely do not though, and well the whole status of "I paid loads for this rare mod" can become its own trend.

I know there are people conscious of their purchasing. I also know that Barnum often said a sucker is born every second.Sometimes I'm left to wonder over some people. You're not in that class. Some of the devices I've seen you post are worthy devices. Think I've only seen one, and could not tell you which one, I was left thinking "um, boy did someone rip him off".

Hope I've conveyed the meaning I was indicating by high end "trendy" mods. I was not meaning the uranium glass beaded tube mods that you need to import from Chernobyl for example. I know, don't tempt you to buy one. I won't either, that glass breaks it leaks radioactivity. Don't want you mutating any more than you are already from vaping. :)

I can get a Trinity Glass Works U.S. 1 clone RDA and a Geek Vape Athena mod to hit like a rocket. The mod runs around $70 retail though I know the person who sent it on to me likely paid only half that or less. The RDA clone I think at most I paid $7 to get when the authentic run about $40 now. So at most it may be a $40 to $50 kit.

I do fine making it hit like a rocket using a single coil. Imagine if I used dual coil I would reach Neptune in short order. :) I don't like the bother of dual coils, besides dual coils for a single celled 18650 is a bit of overkill battery longevity wise.

What are those? They look like goblets or chalices!!

It is a picture of the literal tail end of a rocket. He was making a sight gag joke regarding my question of do you hit a vape like a cigarette, or bong. His reply is "I hit it like a rocket".

That's why I also said:
I do fine making it hit like a rocket using a single coil. Imagine if I used dual coil I would reach Neptune in short order. :) I don't like the bother of dual coils, besides dual coils for a single celled 18650 is a bit of overkill battery longevity wise.

"Bless your precious heart" dear sister. And no that "bless your heart" isn't a snide Southern one. It is a little sarcastic, tongue in cheek but not meant as snide. You sugah, needs to get out more. *chuckles*

"Wonder twin powers activate, ... form of a tsunami to rock my sister's world, and show her all kinds of living and life so she catches up." *chuckles*

Might even show you the fun of skydiving sex, just to enjoy screwing up my knees again. *lol*

I know, "naughty, knotty, noughty brother". Sorry, couldn't help it. Nothing t'all meant other than good clean fun. Think you know me well enough to know that.
