A few weeks back I posted that I was having some lung irritation from vaping. I eliminated PG/VG, omitted certain eliquid ingredients, changed wicking material and so on. The usual process of elimination.
Over time, my "symptoms" would wax and wane, but subsided significantly when I went back to a lower voltage setting and a trusty Protank at 3.2 - 3.7V. Prior to this setup, I was mostly using a VaporShark and an Egrip with a Kayfun and the stock coils and RBA from Joyetech for the Egrip. On both of these higher wattage (at least higher than the Provari), I was consistently around 8 watts. Throughout the process, I only vaped 6mg and 3mg, so not a lot of nic.
Fast forward a couple of weeks and I notice when I vape from the Egrip or VaporShark over the course of a full day, the irritation returns. To reduce it, I return to the Provari/Protank setup mentioned earlier and within 24-36 hours, I feel fine again.
So...is it possible that my lung irritation is directly related to my needs to vape at a lower voltage/wattage setting? In addition, could it also be less vapor that is a better fit for me?
Thoughts are appreciated!
