The first of the clones. That said YiHi's is overpriced. Too much emphasis on looks these days and so-called better build quality. A $5k Rolex might have it all, but in the final wash a $10 Timex tells time just as well. :)

Bet ya a dollar it's the same exact thing. These Chinese companies horse trade with each other all the time. One of Yihi's biggest customers is most likely Sigelei, a Chinese company. The only people they are fooling is us consumers. (us as in we)

Hey guys new to the board and been hard core vaping for a couple months now but I have a huge question about this mod, I have one and it goes up to 120 watts for me with 2 16350 in it any one else try this yet? That's what it Has listed on its sight and mine took it

Main question is how safe this is, have seen sources say this is the only chip that has a step down feature in voltage to make it safe when stacking batteries?

According to YiHi, the mini should only be used with dual 18650's using the extension tube.

Personally, I would not recommend using two 18350's. At best, you're going to murder those little batteries at high wattages, at worst...

I bought mine from Coval Vapes where I live.

http://covalvapes.com
I think they're out of stock right now but they have them in store, figure that one out.. lol. Keep tabs on it though.

That's where I ordered mine from. They were about the only place that had the black one when I was looking. I was very happy with them and will order from them again.

Glad they are cloning them. Might get rid of that silly MAP and bring them down to reasonable prices. Things move fast in Vapeworld.

Meh...I'm stubborn. I haven't bought one yet because the store told me they wouldn't honor a 10% off coupon on the SXMini because of MAP. They probably could have sold me two.

I understand what your saying but I'm not having any problems except fit is a little tight. Been vaping with them for about 2 weeks now and have had zero problems but max wattage is about 70 for me at .5 ohms, usually keep it set at about 20-30 watts.... can't wait till the extension tube is out for it though....one thing, it will not go into bypass mode with batteries stacked.

Dude save up, get the real thing. One of the very very few mods worth the excessive price. And still cheaper than half the crap that's supposed to be high end. It's the chip and build quality that makes this mod, and you're not going to get that from any clone.

I want it mostly for the aesthetic, size, wattage and pass-through feature. I like the firing button and the ZNA lacks the flush 18650 and pass-through. Also, the Canadian dollar is in the toilet, so $200 US plus shipping and duty looks more like $300 CAD to me

I wish that the SXMini and IPV 4 would mate and give birth to a 120 watt SX350J, heat control mod.

WOW... Can't really believe what I've been reading here about one of best, if not the best regulated device to come out of China.

The SXmini 350 is the best regulated device that has come out of China. The build quality is second to none. Sigelei,Ipv,Cloupor,God mod,Smy, none of those $100 devices come close to the performance, build quality, and looks. Just because its made in China automatically it's not supposed to be over a $100, and its compared to all the other devices these other companies are putting out from China. I promise anyone once you use and handle this device you will know why it's not like all the other $100 regulated devices from China.

The sx mini is the best mod I have ever bought, its small but very powerful. the build quality is a 9 out of 10 it does everything you need it to do and then some imo spend the money and get one.

I've seen people mentioning that they got one for almost 50 bucks less than the usual $189. I think that there is some price gouging going on. Just because it's good, doesn't make one exempt from hype exploitation.

There was a sort of very limited "under the table" special deal offered on the SXmini for certain customers of a certain vendor as I understand it.

As for "hype," this device has in actuality received very little attention from mainstream ecig media and the go-to Youtube personalities. Most of the raves you'll find on the internet nearly three months after the mini's release are still from regular vapers who have been impressed by the mini and wanted to share their experience.

Course, now that Phil's on board, I reckon all that's about to change. ;)

I know for a fact that any vendor that sells it for less the $189.99 will lose out on any future orders of the device and possibly any other device Yihi will make, so I highly doubt any vendor is selling it for less than that, and the whole sale pricing on it selling it any less then $189.99 will give you virtually 0 profit.

They must have got it 2nd hand or the vendor is an idiot.

quit complaining about the price- this is one of the few pieces of vaping gear that is actually worth the money. every day people spend a lot more fore mods that aren't close to the quality of this mod. the chinese can make an awful lot of crap but like anyplace else they can produce some top quality goods. go look up a marlow boat and tell me it doesn't compare to the finest boats made anywhere in the world. anyone who says the sx mini is not worth the price is just too cheap to buy one and is hunting around for some rationalization-stop bitching and spring for a quality mod or go bother some other thread with your cheapness. come march when the 350J comes out i will add another pair to the stable- just hope they come with some more color choices.

I couldn't agree more. I have only had mine for a couple days since I has holding out till I could be certain I would be getting one with the updated 510 but this is hand down the best regulated device I have owned including the so called called high-end ones. Sadly this makes me feel like I got ripped off buying those. I seem to be getting much better battery life in comparison to my dna stuff and the accuracy is incredible. I dont have fancy gear but my volt meter and inline meter show roughly the same numbers and regardless of the setting I have yet to see this thing be more then 0.02v off from what it says its putting out. The power and soft features are actually useful. My only concern is the longevity of the board. I wouldn't normally worry about that but having 3 dna 40 boards go bad in just as many months has me on edge with everything lately. People keep forgetting there is a nice 1 year warranty included in that price when mods that are more expensive yet poorer quality don't offer that. Fortunately I was lucky enough to get mine a good deal cheaper but was intending to buy it at the $190 price and it is definitely worth it.

LOL They got some of you fooled.

Nah. I think I will post where I like. If you think MAP imposed by a bunch of people afraid that they will be undersold in a competitive market, is a good thing, then you were probably raised by socialists, are a hypocrite, and don't deserve a high-end device. Waiting for a better price is what drives the economy in my country, not standing in line for a "Good For You! (Good for Me!)" pat on the head from some functionary. When to buy and sell, as well as prices, are flexible.

Almost all Youtube personalities didn't get an SX Mini free for review. so it didn't get reviewed. I doubt any of the vape reviewers went out and spent their cash on an SXMini. Perhaps they expect one to be in the free vape mail? Busardo seems to be the exception.

Well that isn't price fixing, but it is questionable legally as it pertains to commerce laws (which vary from state to state).

People are still shelling out $150+ for the Provari V2.5 and $250 for the V3. There was an overseas site that I deal with a lot, the owner sent out a flash sale email to me and about 10 other folks for the SXMini (Authentic) for $130 w/Free shipping. I shoulda jumped on that deal. I'd imagine wholesale is about $110-120 per unit here in the US and a hell of a lot less in Asia.

Phil's got his review up:

Value is subjective, Hartoled. YiHi's MAP is perfectly reasonable in my opinion, and enforcement of it is central to their marketing strategy. They want their target demographic to know that they're here to compete, and they have supplied the goods to back it up. The quality, form, and functionality of the mini meets or exceeds that of comparable devices that have been selling briskly at similar prices.

Even with the knowledge that there may have been / may be a better deal out there, I'm not left feeling "gouged" in the slightest, and I suspect many other mini owners who forked over the MAP feel the same way. So get it over with and just pony up already. You know you wanna. :D

This one is not going to be as popular as it could be or should i say, should be imo . A single 18650 for 100 watts (i don't think so ) , it's $175.00 approx retail will undoubtedly hurt it .

You need two 18650's or a more powerful single battery to make this mod shine but YIHI may have some advanced tech in here , you never know.

If i am in the $175.00 range i'm going for a Reo .

Here's Joe's thoughts

Whats your thoughts
Sharp device, if the electronics are proper..looks like a 'daily' toter.

I know. I'm a stubborn one. I go to Vapor DNA and know that I will spend more on something than I could get it for elsewhere. But they give me a coupon and a bottle of juice and they have a sucker. Enjoy them. Well worth it, I am sure. Someday...

We may see a price drop on the original S-class when the M-class drops around March. If YiHi decides to match the aesthetic of the S with the M, vendors will probably want to purge their inventories of the older units and I'm sure YiHi wouldn't mind getting the new mods into reseller hands ASAP.

We shall see.

Yihi is sold out of the current S class SXMini and are producing no more. There will be no price reduction.

There is no doubt that the YIHI SX 350 chip is good there are many devices being made with the SX 350 if it is not toting dual batteries I have no purpose for it at all...dual batteries 130 range sounds like a good price out of china in the states you can get a hand built one for 200.00 so I see no real value in the Sx Mini itself but more the chip

i didnt realize how complete the sx mini was until phil reviewed it. so far my vaporshark has been the only device i would spend top dollar on but im pretty much sold on an sx mini for the same reasons i bought my rdna. plus i think bc its a china mod i can find a much better deal then what most vendors have it for maybe a group buy or something
