I’m very honored to be a speaker on the upcoming re-launch of a summit put together by top functional medicine physician Dr. Jay Davidson.

  • Jason Prall: Microbiota-Mitochondrial Communication (Jason has become one of my favorite health authorities to follow, and his rational thinking/heart-centered approach is very inspiring to me)

Hi Jimi,
Are you dealing with the symptoms of lymph congestion?
Beyond just being annoying, lymph congestion inhibits detoxification and immunity.

I was suffering from a lot of lymph congestion at my sickest, and I didn't really know what it was all about. I had daily:
  1. Swollen glands
  2. Post-nasal drip
  3. Puffy eyes

Atrial fibrillation (AFib) is an abnormal heart rhythm in which the heart’s upper chambers beat erratically, which can lead to blood clots that can cause a stroke or heart attack.

“While established medical treatment protocols remain essential, helping AFib patients adopt healthier lifestyle habits whenever possible may help to reduce episodes,” said Dr. Mina Chung, a cardiologist at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.

Lifestyle changes that can help fight AFib include maintaining a healthy weight, being active, and not smoking. But extreme physical activity can raise the risk of AFib, so workouts of professional-level intensity are not advised.

“To help patients make healthy lifestyle changes, we suggest setting specific, progressive achievable weight and exercise targets, and prescribing lifestyle intervention programs that can provide appropriate supports,” Chung said.

“Using a pedometer, smartphone/watch apps, or other wearable devices that provide feedback, as well as apps that help people track food intake, can be helpful to keep people motivated,” she added.

What does "finding who you are" actually mean? The answer involves understanding what do you really believe in, and what do you really think of yourself. In order to do so, try something out of your comfort zone and observe how you react to new things. Get alone, look inward and be completely truthful with yourself. Look beyond other people's expectations of you. If you place your identity in someone else or something else, you would always seek other's permission to do what you really want to.
